Yes...All we did was have a circle jerk over KC's defense, which you were 100% correct on :first:

This just sounds awful.

Seriously. I would rather eat thumbtacks than talk to any of you clowns on the phone.

I allowed him to talk to my daughter. She still loves him.

Right?

I thought we all understood that we all come here for selective, distant human interaction with each other ONLY when we personally want to interact.

What is the best gas 3/4 ton, and/or if i went with ford would you recommend the 6.2 ford or the 3.5 ecoboost.

2nd question.

If i replace a timing belt in a 2008 acura mdx do i need to replace anything else at the same time. I know in some vehicles you need to replace oil pump, etc.

I need to decide if i want to dump thousands into my 11 year old vehicle that my wife gave me or if i should trade it in and get a truck that can tow my boat.

Your daughter not only has great taste in music, but she is smart as all hell.

You and wifey obviously gave her some good dna.

With the timing belt, one must / should get the whole kit.

Timing belt, water pump, idler pulley. tensioner

The job calls for like 5 hours, but it's easy to do.

Our prefered brand is Aisin for your Acura.

OE quality

This question, I can't help you with.

All I know is that the 3.5 is a GDI engine (I think) and while GDI is a great idea in thought, many issues are now showing their ugly head meaning carbon deposits on intake valves.

Turbos and smaller engines are the future, it seems, tho. Makes sense :dunno:

SUX is good people.

That's what your dog said

Well, That's what he / she would have said after I gave it some good pets and stuff.

And by "good pets and stuff" I actually mean giving it some loves.

And by mean "giving it some loves" I mean petting it lovingly like a...Aww fock

Let me get out of this hole I'm digging myself into.

I love animals more than people.

I give doggies , kittendoodles , whatever, kisses. Thet love me back in a non beastiality way.

OK...This isn't working the way I wanted it to.

Fock you all, and to all a horrible night.

If i remember right your boat has two motors and is heavy. The bigger motor is heavier than the smaller one. Your vehicle will handle much better. Go big or stay home when it comes to pulling trailers.

The boat/trailer is 8,000 pounds fully loaded. I would still store my boat on the water, and would only tow occasionally.

3.5 Ecoboost in an f150 has a 13,0000 pound tow limit.

How many miles do you tow it? Any hills? Tow any other trailers?

Not saying it wont work, but feeling comfortable while pulling makes life more enjoyable.

I will only pull a few times a year, ideally I would like a yearly trip to New Orleans. I have never fished there, but it has the best yellowfin tuna fishing in the country.

I am leaning towards an f250 with a 6.2, but I am just as likely to stick with my crappy car for one more year. The issue is that it needs a timing belt and other maintenance.

Do I want to spend 2000 on a vehicle I know I am getting rid of next year.

No. All vehicles eventually reach a point where they start failing in multiple areas, at least that is my experience. If you spend $2K on this I bet that within 3-6 months you'll have another major failure. The trick is to take it to the farm at the right point. This is the point.

Also based on what you've said, the 3.5 Ecoboost sounds more than sufficient. A few hauls per year, and you aren't driving thru the Alps.

I can barely spell "truk" but I hope this expert advice has been helpful.
