vuduchile 1,941 Posted November 7, 2017 As an Eagles fan I am much more concerned about Dallas than NE right now. Hopefully there's a path that leads to a Dallas/Philly NFC Champ game

edjr 5,562 Posted January 16, 2018 Eagles  I know Blount scored on that 4th down and 1, but why would you not use your better/faster running back (Ajayi) in that situation?

MDC 5,890 Posted January 16, 2018  I know Blount scored on that 4th down and 1, but why would you not use your better/faster running back (Ajayi) in that situation? The RB rotations have been odd. A few times this year Doug has had the rookie Clement run the ball on 3rd/4th and shorts. Its hard to figure. ETA I am not sure Ajayi is all that much better in short yardage than Blount. edjr 5,562 Posted January 16, 2018 Fumbler  Not much chance to fumble on a sweep to the pylon?  The block the Tight End put on, made that play.

But Ajai puts the ball on the ground more than Blount. Blount had 18 TD's last year, most of them by the goal line. What's the point of having him if not for that situation? He's the new Benjarvis. Maybe that's why they used him for that play, trickeration.
