    Week 16 defenses

It's a good point, Chargers D is pretty banged up right now. I'd go with the Bears over the Chargers D!

    Week 16 defenses

Wind chill temperate at kickoff tomorrow night in Green Bay...........0 degrees

    Week 16 defenses

I'm in the same exact situation, deciding between Bears and Vikes. I had the Bears plugged in all week but just switched to the Vikes. With Davante Adams out, they are missing their top weapon (GB that is). And GB should be very deflated after getting Rodgers back last week only to get knocked out of the playoff race and losing him again. Very cold in GB in a night game tomorrow too.
  4. If you've already clinched your playoff spot and likely a first round bye, might make sense to prepare with your streaming D for championship week. I know, thinking WAY ahead here but I think it's smart rather than waiting and fighting for the top D. Thoughts on best D's for week 16? I have the Vikes D, at Green Bay. I feel good about them but in the off chance that ARod returns I am no longer loving that matchup...

    Matt Bryant Injury

I know no one cares about kickers but with the crazy scoring system in my league they are very important, soooooo.........anyone know what's up with Matt Bryant? Thought I heard something about him "limping" in the game yesterday. Anyone see the game and know the issue? Thanks!!

Arians: David Johnson unlikely to play rest of season

a Zona win this week and the odds that DJ returns this year double!!

Arians: David Johnson unlikely to play rest of season

Drew Stanton. They're going to run AP into the ground the next few games, hopefully get some W's in there and then bring back DJ for the stretch run to the playoffs!!! I'm stashing DJ and Josh Gordon!

Arians: David Johnson unlikely to play rest of season

Zona beats the Niners this week and then they're 4-4. Next games after that are home vs Seattle, at Houston, then 3 home games vs Jacksonville, the Rams, and Tennessee. I'd say they could make a run at a wild card. DJ comes back! Oh and I got someone to throw him in as part of a trade yesterday so yes I'm slightly biased.
  10. who would you start as a Flex in a half-point PPR? Collins should get more carries but he's against the tough Vikings D. Charles will likely get less carries but against the bad Chargers D. Thoughts? Thanks!!!!

    week 6 streaming def

I have the Texans and Jags on my roster, debating who to go with. Texans home vs Browns or Jags home vs Rams. Texans KILLED me last week and I had the Jags with their huge game on my bench. Thoughts?
  12. I normally do the "right thing" and wait on QB and am not tempted to draft one of the top QB's way too early. This year I'm thinking differently though, considering taking ARod or Brady early as I expect big years from both (especially Brady actually). Having said that, I've done some live mocks over the past week and it seems that both are ALWAYS drafted either in the 1st or in the early 2nd at the latest. Is this reality? Are people valuing them highly and taking them this early in real drafts or is this just a result of people "playing around" in mock drafts?
  13. Has anyone every done a slow draft? i.e. a draft which spans over a few days or even a week? Can this really work? If so, what restrictions do you impose and how can you keep people from taking advantage and taking forever to make their picks? Someone suggested this for our league but I'm skeptical about it...

Loading up on RB's for "upside later season"

I agree with you about Woodhead in a PPR, easily the safest bet to produce in that backfield! No idea really who will be "the guy" once Dixon returns, they may just split between West and Dixon. My "hope" with the strategy I outlined above is that Dixon would emerge and take over but it's definitely not a given.

Loading up on RB's for "upside later season"

True about Lynch, but the problem with him is with "value". It's going to take a pretty high pick to get him, possibly a 2nd rounder. With these younger guys you can get them cheap and load up at the other positions earlier - then when these guys reach their potential later in the year your roster can be stacked everywhere!
