    Kirk Cousins

I started Cousins in 2 leagues and he is likely to win me those games this week. That said, over-reaction? Cousins is a high upside streamer option but that's it. I'm hoping Palmer comes back and plan to pair the two. This guy is not a stud. He went up against the worst secondary in the league. He has another matchup coming up that is pretty nice against the Giants before getting deaths row. The enthusiasm will be tempered by then a bit I imagine.
  2. Unless Asiata gets hurt or gets a case of fumbilitis, there is zero chance McKinnon plays a significant role this season.

    Matt Asiata

I'm in 9 leagues and Asiata was picked up and held onto the moment the AP news broke last week in all of them. Perception is only part of it. A starting RB, in an offense that gets the RB the ball, in a sea of mediocre fantasy RB's has value. He's right. If Asiata is available, your league isn't competitive bottom line. As for Gerhart, the line is a mess as is the offense but writing him off in 2 weeks is foolish as well. A lot more clarity should come in week 3 against the Colts for him. If he still can't find running room, it's likely hopeless Bortles or not.
  4. My enthusiasm regarding Kelce this season has all but dissipated at this point. I still am holding him in 6 of my 9 leagues, but I just traded him "high" as a throw in one... and I see him as the first guy on my roster to get cut when bye weeks come a knocking. Kelce's time will come, but not in time for him to be a viable fantasy asset this season.

Stacy's Value Rest of the Way

You could be right, it's early in the season... but he certainly looked good against the Bears. I should note I play in all .5ppr leagues, where FJax has a bit of additional value. At least we should get a much clearer picture after the next couple weeks. I am expecting a big game out of FJax this weekend. Gerhart has his own concerns with his ankle... but how I see it is Gerhart and Fjax have higher floors. Stacy's floor can get very low in a hurry, and frankly I can't have a 4th round pick bombing like that. Hence the concern.

Stacy's Value Rest of the Way

I was one of those guys who waited on RB this year and went hard after much more elite talent at WR and TE positions. So I ended up with Stacy, Gerharts, Fjaxs of the world in many leagues. Right now, I am very concerned about Stacy. I have him valued way below those other two guys. He doesn't have the talent, he doesn't have the situation, and he has competition. Here is how I see it. Gerhart/Fjax/Gore all rock solid RB2. Stacy RB2/3 (sinking solidly toward 3 possibly worse) Richardson and S Green, who are awful and will provide nothing more than RB4/5 value at best. In my opinion, not even worth a bench spot.

    A. Ellington vs. R. Bush

Not a fan of Reggie at all this year, would prefer having Bell to him. Ellington I loved prior to the year, but his hype and draft position was a bit high for my liking, so I didn't draft him. Now with the injury, I was very impressed with how he played considering that. The talent is definitely there... guy is a stud. Like him way over Bush.

That site is sexy. Can you share how you were able to create custom buttons, custom tabs, etc?

    myfantasyleague is terrible

As others have stated MFL isn't superior to other services unless your Commissioner is able to take full advantage of the site. That can be insanely time consuming and can require understanding of CSS and java etc. Once you are setup, however, the interface really shines. Particularly in a keeper or dynasty league setting. I personally play on MFL, Yahoo, ESPN, and CBS. I would rank them MFL>>Yahoo>>>ESPN>>>>>>>>>>>CBS. You aren't going to convince many experienced fantasy owners much differently. I personally like the multiple news stories, because commentary is frequently included and I like getting different perspectives. Not all of the onus is on the Commish either... each individual has the option to customize the layout of their homepage. Perhaps not to the same extent as the Commish, but it is there.

    PPR is whack.

I play in both types of leagues and in my opinion .5PPR is best. To say yardage is the be-all-end-all is silly. A guy who catches four passes on 3rd down and moves the chains each time is definitely more valuable to an offense then a guy who catches a single 50 yard bomb. At the same time, 1PPR is just too much. A screen pass that only nets 2 or 3 yards getting you a full point each time? While important plays sometimes, just far too much rewarded. This also skews the balance of points toward WR over RB (and pass catching RB becomes invaluable). .5PPR has RB and WR very balanced. The top 10 RB amd WR in our league are pretty much dead even in points. It's all about tweaking your settings and finding a good balance. To me, and those in my league, it's all about mimicking the NFL as closely as possible. Players heavily involved in offense on their teams should also reward their fantasy team.

    Favre is killing me.. suggestions?

I also agree. I think B Jax for Orton is a great trade, but Cutler is worth giving up Marshall even more. Do you want an every week starter or merely a "good enough" QB. Easy decision, IMO.

    Buy Low/Sell High

The only similar thing about these two running backs is where their ADP ended up at the start of the season. Just wait for "Fumblin Foster" to put his first ball on the ground, and this hype all dies down. As I already stated, I have Foster in 3 out of 4 of my leagues. Clearly I think he is valuable. But everyone is so quick to look for "this year's Matt Schaub" (Kevin Kolb hype also pissed me of during the pre-season) or "this year's Ray Rice (and your comment pretty much assures me that is exactly how you are looking at is as well), they let it get into the way of common sense.

    Buy Low/Sell High

I also disagree with the popular sentiment in this thread, and I own Foster in 3 of my 4 leagues. Can't believe people are already annointing him a top 6 back... are you frigging kidding me? Makes the FFtoday board look like it is full of rookies. I see the same thing every year, you'd think people would have learned by now. You know who also started out the season hot last season? Julius Jones. Enough said. I am in no way saying Arian Foster is like Julius Jones, but to compare him and even elevate him above top talent - and proven talent - is just plain stupid.

    Julius Peppers & Chester Taylor

Exactly my point you don't know what you are talking about... Harping on a subjective term like "great" instead of saying "good?" His is a valuable running back, that is what matters. The best, or 2nd best depending on what you think of Thomas Jones, on the FA market. Who is afraid of a blocking TE? For someone who is harping on the Bears having a terrible O-Line, which I think you are under-estimating by the way, that is exactly what that is... an upgrade to the O-line. The defense is aging... not yet aged. The jury is still out on the QB, hard to judge behind the O-line of last season - which wasn't the same at the end of the season as it was at the start. In any case, I don't see anyone claiming the Bears are suddenly world beaters. But to say that there FA signings are mediocre or even poor is ridiculous. They have the best FA so far of any NFL team this year, in a year where impact players aren't particularly abundant.
