Real mayo.

When you guys make grilled cheese do you use butter or mayo? If you use butter, try mayo next time, its way better.

Oooh, thank God we have a real Gourmand here to lessen the blow of losing Tony Bourdain.

Ten to one he cuts the crust off too.

skip the ketchup, try pure HFCS.

God, no schiit. No wonder kids love McDonalds. Might as well dip your French fries in your Coke cut out the middleman.

Of course, if one more numbnuts tries to hand me artisanal house-made ketchup...

Although it makes it much easier to spread on the bread before grilling, I'm not sold on the fact that it taste any better, no worse mind you, but better? Meh.

But you'd only get one kind of mustard. He was acting as if you could have many different kinds.

OP said to choose one condiment, not one flavor of condiment. :dunno:

What do people eat with ketchup? Fries/homefries yeah I agree. Hamburger or hotdog. Not me but sure.

What else? Nothing.

Some people put it on eggs as well.

But the same can be said about any condiment, unless you're one of those douches that carries your own bottle of hot sauce and gratuitously adds it to everything.

Many people add it to meatloaf in the cooking process. Others add it afterwards. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches in the world is cold meatloaf with ketchup on White Bread or a good roll.

ketchup is also the base ingredient for a lot of barbecue sauce recipes.

Wow. Whiff the man of reason. Not a huge fan of ketchup but yes a good meatloaf traditional recipe has it (funny. My dinner tonight)

And yes BBQ sauce starts with catsup

I dont even own ketchup. Anything you would use ketchup on, there is something better to use instead. A-1, mustard, siracha, whatever.

This. Except French Fries. Fries need ketchup. All others I agree with

Related: Anybody have a taste for yellow mustard in chili?

Not really as an ingredient. More like added like some people ad sour cream after the fact.

Started with my first favorite dog, the chili cheese dog. Then started doing it with my Frito pie. Now I just add it to a bowl of chili.

I dont even want it with fries. Would rather have honey mustard, sweet and sour sauce, sweet chili sauce, etc.
