wiffleball 4,640 Posted June 16, 2018 Heathrow is fighting to add a third Runway. Meaning obviously, they only have two now. For comparison, Denver has six. Obviously, I know land is at a premium and you're up in the UK. But damn, that airport is pretty much the Gateway to and from Europe. I'm amazed that they've gone all these years with only two runways. Even more amazed that they haven't had any major accidents related to them as far as I know. For those of you familiar with the area, the third Runway looks like it's going to be a bad 6in away from the M4. Pretty sure Id paint one of them neon orange.
