  1. Yeah, but do you ban trades involving locked bench players as well?
  2. There is this bug on nfl.com where you can drop your bench players even after they have played their match. Only the ones in your starting lineup are locked. I have been told that other sites lock the bench players as well, so we are discussing a league rule to make those players undroppable. But what if you want to trade one of these players? Anyone with experience from other sites than nfl.com? Can you trade a benched player on friday after he has played TNF?

Monday night what do you need?

Need 4.8 from Leveon, so sorry to anyone who needs more than 4.7
  4. ynotu

How many qbs do you keep?

No. There will always be a serviceable one available, and you would never bench Wilson for any of those anyways. If a guy like Cutler was floating around I might drop Shorts for him, but I dont really see the point.

Ryan Matthews still NOT cleared to run

wow jump on it. Steal! My view on Oliver: He got the job midway in the game vs the Jets. A Jets team that had traveled across the country, different time zones, quarterback issues and an offence that had big trouble producing a single first down. The Jets defence was on the field most of the match, got tired and the game was a blow out early. Oliver looked good, but I can't give him any credit for this one. Also, look at what Hillman (!!!) and Vereen did against this defence.... Second match was against the Raiders. Enough said. He looked good, but I can't give him much credit for this one either. So, I think Oliver MIGHT be good, but I dont feel like I know for sure just yet. He is probably better than Donald Brown. It looks like he will get another two starts before Mathews is back, so we'll hopefully get some more good data. I have no reason to expect a dud game by Oliver, but I dont feel confident in him being a new star either....R-E-L-A-X. Mathews was projected to be out 4-6 weeks and according to Dr Jene Bramel the first week after the accident "this is a 4-6 week injury...no more...no less. And when he's back he'll be at 100% straight out of the gate". That means that if he played this week he would be on the early side of recovery time, and it being a short week before the Denver match he will probably miss that one as well. I dont expect the Chargers to hold him out over the bye week to let him "heal up", because there really is no reason to. When he's ready to run he's ready to run. When the injury happened he was expected back in week 8 or 9, and I still haven't seen any news giving us reason to change that estimation. The Chargers also run the ball ALOT, so they will have no problem feeding both Mathews and Oliver, if Oliver continues to perform at a high level the next two weeks. My prediction: Mathews returns in week 9 and get about 20 touches per game. Oliver stays in the mix with 10-15 touches per game.

    Possible Collusion between 2 teams

If the only argument is that the FJax deal was "better", I dont see any problems with this trade. I would much rather have Joique than Fjax even though FJax has performed better so far. I dont trust him to stay healthy or keep that production up, and I am sure Joique will improve. That whole offence will improve once Mega is back. She has a stud QB that is done with his bye week, and she doesn't want to waste a roster spot on a backup QB. Why would she want Kaepernick in return? Also a waste of a roster spot for her. And those statements about "trading Peyton", "Rivers is a top 3 QB" sounds like typical trade talk. Rivers has almost zero trade value in 8 and 10 team leagues. Not even sure I would have paid much for him in my 12 team league when players like Palmer and Romo are available on the waivers. If somebody in my 12 team league traded Rivers for Joique I would have hated the deal, but that's because the owner getting Joique is pretty much raping the other guy. RB2 value for a QB with almost no value.

    Moreno vs Mathews

Disagree on this one. Miller >>>Oliver. Miller had plenty of work even when Moreno was healthy.

Ronnie Hillman, Andre Williams, Branden Oliver

Exact opposite for me on Oliver vs Williams long term. For the next two weeks I think it's a flip because of matchups, but after that I think Oliver will be shifted into Danny Woodheads role when Mathews returns. Williams gets a bye and then he's back on the bench when Jennings returns.
  9. YOU obviously dont know what you are talking about....so now...let the measuring contest begin.
  10. Nobody will step right in and get Murrays workload. They will give the ball more to Romo and split the reduced number of carries pretty evenly between Dunbar and Randle.

    Denard Robinson aka Ellington 2.0

You want to pick up Robinson based on video from two pre season matches LAST season. As stupid as that is, he is supposedly a much better runner now.
  12. Ok, ty. Better get rid of him then. He's the only player I feel is droppable if one of my starters can't go on sunday.

    Do I want Ben Tate?

Bradshaw has played 12 games or more in all seasons but one?
  14. Maybe I wasnt specific enough, but the setting says that players are locked at game start, but I am wondering if that is applied to the benched players as well. I was able to drop Ray Rice mon. sep 8th for John Brown who played later that monday night, even if the Ravens played sun sep 7th. I think maybe it was because Ray Rice was dropped by the Ravens, but I'm not sure.
  15. We have a fantasy league at NFL.com. I have Andre Williams (RB, NYG) on my bench. Will he be locked to my bench after the game starts, or can I drop him tomorrow for something else?
