Who else "over thought it"?

Recommended Posts

Who else made a bonehead over management move today?

Picked up Zay Jones and started him over Drake.

Jones been playing well, lit up Jets just weeks ago, Bills cut all other WR...

Gases hates Drake, needs TD to matter at this point

Jones did nothing w/ his 9 targets (good #).

Drake SUCKED... 6 carriers for 24..... until the hook & ladder lateral drill.

10 point swing.

im now tied w/ Carson vs Cohen. Drake would have done it.

I should have just played the ranking & the guy I drafted in like the 4th. I would be less upset.

I over-thought playing Ware. I sat him for Blount. 12pt difference in my ful PPR league. :wall:

Sat Bears D for the first time; picked up Dallas a couple of weeks ago specifically for this week. Boyz were great for three quarters and Bears got embarrassed by Saquon last week...expected more of the same from The Gurley Show. I’m behind by the difference in defense scoring.

I couldn't decide which TE to start, Burton or Graham, so instead of keeping McGuire in a flex spot, I put Burton in there. Dumb.

Crowell had a bad toe and even though not listed as OUT, I should've figured McGuire would be the bell cow today.

Just dumb.

I usually overthink it and start the wrong guy. This year I'm sticking with whoever got me here and playing averages over the entire season..

Still almost went Burton over Brate, but stuck with Brate.

I played Zay over Golladay....

Zay 3.6

Golladay. 1.5

I should have played DJ Moore instead. 9.2

Underthought one: pickup up Engram to start over Reed

Overthought: sat Bears D in the 'bad matchup' after they got clowned by the Giants

Also sat Bears D for Chargers, don't know if that was an overthought, as every ranking had chargers way ahead, luckily didn't cost me the win.

went golladay over DJ based on the news that cam was banged up... That one position/decision cost me a 1st round win  course I had to stay up late to see Cohen fall a few points short to know for sure

Dynasty Ive been sitting on Jaylen Samuels. Thought I was sly and plugged him into TE position and benched Kittle. Killed me. Need 20 pts out of diggs to win the matchup as I had Amari come through at the end for me

I feel your pain. I was overly fortunate last night. I needed 16.2 from D. Cook. That garbage time reception TD sealed it for me by 3 points. It shouldn't have been close, but I overthought my lineup and started LeSean McCoy over T.Y. Hilton. My reasoning was the last time Shady played the Jets, he ate them for lunch with almost 25 points. T.Y. Hilton was coming off a week of no practice and a shoulder injury. I thought I was being slick. McCoy earned .1 point(s). Hilton would have made last nights game a moot point. I was fortunate and won, but shouldn't have. I almost feel bad for winning the way I did.

That Cook late td sealed my fate and ended my season. Glad it made you happy though.

Thanks, hopefully you did as well

Regretfully, no. End of season.

I felt everything going against me as the week progressed so I kind of saw the writing on the wall.

1. Samuels allowed to play TE

2. Odell out

3. Cooks last minute td. (Why did Minny have to throw him back out when game was over 21-0 with a few minutes left? Couldn’t they play the back up then?)

Nevertheless, I can also look at Zay, James White and Zack Ertz’s production and say....I didn’t deserve to win. My opponent didn’t do that well, but obviously enough. All my players had to do was play their game.

Dropped Brate for Engram 5 minutes before kickoff. Difference of of 5 points. Lost by 0.8 points after winning 8 in a row but losing the 2nd spot on the last week by 4 total points. Wish I had that bye week.
