Divisional Playoff: Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Recommended Posts

A couple of Hawk start percentages that were maybe a touch higher than I expected....

Rawls on Yahoo - 29.4 %

Richardson at FanDuel - 11.1 %

Edit the title and make this the thread !

The refs made their presence known on the first play, I see.

Yep. I have the feeling that this is going to be a long ugly game.

Crap. Ifedi down. : /

Side: Freeman ended up being at least solid most weeks. Still, that brutal week 14 performance ended up costing me one playoff existence (in tandem with the Gordon injury).

This broadcast team is already a snoozefest.

Scouting report: This is the broadcast crew best described as "When you're three minutes into the fourth quarter and just realized that you have no idea who has been calling the game."

Lucia's Take: "This is pretty much FOX's number two team now. Solid, unspectacular, largely inoffensive. Not that excitable."

Pros: Entirely inoffensive. Nothing to make fun of them for specifically because, when the game is over, you'll question whether or not you listened to a broadcast or if it was just ambient noise.

Cons: May fall asleep if the game isn't exciting.

Nice run back by Hester.

He's been a welcome addition to the team. Note: In this game, he returns to his former 'home' stadium. May be a bit inspired to show the Falcons up today.

It would seem that ADB is in the house. Good thing, since he's generally at his best when he's pissed. : )

That penalty was a game-changer, lol.

It looked like the Atlanta guy was blocking the Seattle guy, why would the Seattle guy hold? They both went down...the refs talked for a long time, seemed like a B.S. call.

Sherman should have been called for holding too.

Ifedi is still injured, but back for now.

eta: Ouch!

"Seahawks can't risk any more plays with Rees Odhiambo on the field so now they're just risking Germain Ifedi's health."

You're freaking kidding me with the effing penalties. GAAAAAAH!

You can call a holding penalty on EVERY kickoff or punt return, yet only Seattle is getting screwed...they have no chance in this game, put a fork in 'em.
