First of all, fuk HOAs. Ill never live in a neighborhood that has them. Second, if its true, fuk a puzzy a$$ snowflake that cant even drive past a "Jesus" decoration without being offended. Get over yourself.

I'd take it down but I would make a point to say his name multiple times in every HOA meeting.

Jesus Christ, this is good coffee!!

Jesus Christ, it's cold outside!!

Jesus Christ, these chairs are uncomfortable!!

Jesus Christ, can we start the meeting??

I wouldn't say anything to our HOA but, I would definitely point and laugh at it. That thing is terrible looking. I don't think Jesus would approve.

Its the War on Christmas Season, a time when conservatives get mad at businesses like Starbucks for giving a warm non denominational Happy Holidays and homeowner associations for not allowing Christian billboards on your front lawn.

I look forward to the salty snowflake tears almost as much as the time with family.

I feel the exact same about a Bible thumper complaining about a cup at Starbucks as I do a HOA complaint about Jesus decor.

This. Just embrace you beliefs and let others embrace theirs. If you want to put out a rainbow flag, put it out. I don't care. But don't about the Elvis in a Santa hat in my front yard.

Anyone who considers that offensive is an intolerant anti-Christian twat.

I think its mostly that its a tacky eyesore. Probably wouldnt matter if it was the Star of David or the star and crescent or whatever.

Homeowner surely knows this but wants to be a pain in the ass after picking that neighborhood with an HOA. So fock him

I noticed the part about the HOA deciding this was a sign rather than a decoration got buried 4-5 paragraphs into the story. Oversight by Fox Im sure.

"People get offended by different things, but just because something offends you, doesn't mean the whole world has to change to accommodate you, so I would say please be more tolerant," Mark Wivell said.

Smart woman.

Nope. Christmas decor is allowed. They first said it was offensive. Now have backstroked and called it a "sign" which is prohibited. Tackiness has nothing to do with it.

Oh, no doubt, it was only brought up because somebody was offended by Jesus.

Why would Jesus be offensive to anyone? From what I read he was a pretty cool guy. Very nice, helped the poor. Wrongfully convicted man of color. What's a liberal not to like?

From the article, theres a rule that decorations can stay up until Jan 15. HOA has no basis to make them remove it. :dunno:

Looks pretty tacky.

It does.

I wouldn't want that in my neighborhood, either :dunno:

I sure don't like the ones trying to push their beliefs in my face. This display is exactly that to me.

Related. The God fearing Dixie Chick hatin guy who flies a hundred square foot flag in his yard and the HOA gets mad at it and then he blames the HMO for being anti-American. No butt plug, there certain rules doesn't matter what the flag is.

Yes it does. You're so ginned up you don't see that. There are plenty of places you can go and never have to see an American flag again. Check em out.

Good for you Captain America. You're probably one of those morons who got pissed off about Obama not wearing a flag pin. There's nothing wrong with the American flag and I think every household should fly them if they want to. I live in an HOA in a military town and there's lots of flags, but people are smart enough to obey the rules. But when you get one of those industrial-size ###### that should be hanging by a highway car dealership, not outside of a 800 square foot condo, it's just common sense.

Guys who think the bigger their flag is, the bigger the Patriot they are are about as worthless as guys who think they're more Christian if they erect a 400 foot cross in the front yard.

I've never encountered the Garrison flag in the civilian world. And I have never seen a crucifix on a front lawn, never mind a large one. Mary on the half shell yes, I have seen that. Perhaps you should upgrade your quarters?
