The original. I just finished we watching that. Most horror films do not age well. But good Lord, The movie is as good today as it was 30 years ago.Great effects, And you gotta love Jobeth Williams wearing nothing but a jersey and panties.

I think it's great until the last half hour or so when it starts to feel like a Disney theme ride. I can't believe it got a PG rating, no way a movie that scary would be PG today. The rumor is that Spielberg actually directed but Hooper handled the horror scenes. That makes sense since it looks so much like a Spielberg movie but the scary scenes are so much rougher.

Good movie.

It's pretty wild that both of the daughters In that family Are dead now. The little girl died at 12. The annoying teenager Was strangled to death.

Well, this is kind of creepy. I was reading about This movie On IMDB. It turns out, all the skeletons towards the end of the movie?

They were real, actual human skeletons. It turns out, they were cheaper to buy Then Plastic models.

Yea I remember reading that. But I love watching that movie and both its sequels when they come on, on Halloween, or on Friday the 13th. The remade one was alright. Didn't like the ending of how they had the ghosts set up cause there wasn't a bad one like there was in the original. Just a bunch of dead people trying to get the little girl

Classic flick and holds up pretty well. Don't think of it as a horror movie.

romcom?

Drama/thriller

It's about ghosts and scaring people. How is that not a horror movie?

I remember seeing it in the theater. When the movie was over, a little kid in front of me said to his dad, "Dad......when we get home, can we put that clown in my room into my sisters room?'

That focking clown doll. When it disappears. Holy shizz, I remember that scared the bejesus out of me.

I think the clown doll got to many people. Especially the ones deathly afraid of clowns.

Seriously, count me in.

It turns out, From reading the trivia about this movie, That the little boy literally almost died of strangulation From that f****** clowns arms. SSpielberg just thought he was doing a great acting job Until the kid turn blue.

Some seriously bad mojo On that movie set.
