I have said from the start of the playoffs that whoever comes out of the NL will win. Just a gut feeling. I kind of don't like how the Giants suddenly find ways to win these rings when they have never really had a good team or a good story, but they have that experience now.

I want the Royals to win because that would be one of the more improbable champions in professional sports in recent memory. Like the Os series where I was very wrong, I feel like the Giants will win in 6.

The NL has been dominating the WS for a while right? What do you mean by not having a good story?

Bochy has great, seasoned instinct...I think that's their biggest strength. People thought Ishikawa sucked (Ishikawa thought Ishikawa sucked this summer, down in triple A world), but Bochy felt confident bringing him up. Calls like that that net a lot of criticism usually work out for him. Once October rolls around the team is well balanced scrappers and the bullpen is always solid.

I'll be rooting for KC. Hope they stay hot. Should be a great WS if both teams keep playing the way they have been

I'm rooting for SF. Although, like most of America, I don't care enough to actually watch any of it.

SF in 7.

I'm obviously a Giants homer, but not so much of a fanatic that it KC won I would be in tears.
I mean we have a rich history of quality players and WS wins. KC has pine tar and such. :dunno:

Either way, should be a great series.

I'll predict SF in 6 :first:

Your call. How much do you like the royals? How much do you want to be there? Do you think you will get another opportunity?

I was thinking about going this weekend, but have other things I would rather use the $$$ for. I used to have season tickets and have experienced postseason games. Planned to host a BBQfor my team a while back. Will just have the game on...

Good luck

Nice to see the Royals finally back in the Series and I would not be unhappy if the Royals were to win it...

But I still have to root for the National League team...

Rough start.....yikes. Harold Reynolds calling the game

"Don't count out the Royals, they had to advance over the Tigers and Orioles."

Annnnnd be quiet Harold.

I've always been a bitter doosh. Now I'm old too. :dunno:

Bummer about your team so far. I'm actually interested to see how they respond to a loss, since we haven't gotten to see that this post season.

I'm struggling because I generally root for the NL and the West, but I hate everything about San Fran. Except Ghirardelli chocolate. And Mitchell Brothers/O'Farrell Theater. But everything else.

Following the game through MLB gameday's animated feed.

At last KC  I want los Gigantes to win ultimately, but not with barely any struggle.

The Royals swept the Giants in August in a three game series. Maybe something the announcers said? So it could, and hopefully will, get interesting.
