Trent Richardson - Signs with Oakland

Recommended Posts

In a $200 dynasty league I have him at 53. Should I just let him go and try to snag a rookie or hold out one more year with him?

Amazing how perspectives change after only one year.

Indeed. I do feel that he's got some value at his current ADP, but its hard to trust after seeing that kind of fall off last year.

At his current ADP, sure.

At $53? That correlates to a mid-to-late first rounder.

So Bradshaw is done for the season.

Anyone see TRich getting 20 touches per game in a great offense anything worth gettting over his crappy play and hoping for more as a start at RB2?

I think PPR he'll be OK. They love throwing to the RBs, huge part of their game. Bradshaw in a 50/50 role had a whole bunch of receiving tds.

Standard, not too hot on him. He'll do his usual 2 yards and a cloud of turf, and eventually THe colts will just air it out more and more. With luck they can go that route every game, so why wouldn't they. I'd temper my expectations. I don't know much about herron but if he shows just a lil something in the 1st game, expect him to end up getting 50%, basically rendering TRich exactly what he was before...

it's yucksville with TRich. He's bad enough that he has a good chance of not being in the league next year...

I would say that this is his last chance to prove that he is a feature back. If he can take the oppourtunity and run with it then I am very excited about having him as a keeper. If he tanks, then he will just stick around the league as a rbbc type of guy.

The great thing about his chances are that no def coordinators are gonna say that they need to focus on stopping t-rich, so he shouldn't see many people in the box. My guess is that he kills it this week vs the jaguars and scores twice.....then it's more of a toss up, but that divison does suck so on paper he is a rb2.

I've got him in both my PPR leagues and he's gotten a consistent 8-12 points almost every single week. So you can count on those but he's not going to be a guy that explodes for a 20+ point outburst. I'm expecting to see 2-3 more balls thrown his way each game now so I'm upping my weekly output from him to about 12-14 points with maybe TD here and there. And I'll take that my 16-team league.

He could get a lot of work, but he will likely stink.

40 career games: 27 with 10 or or more carries. Of those 27, he has 7 games of 4.00+ ypc, 3 of 3.5+, 6 of 3.0+, 11 of <3.0 ypc.

He has 10 career games with 4.0 ypc or more, he got 10 or more carries in 7 of them.

He has 14 career games with TDs: in 13 of those games he had 11 or more carries.

TR has 16 games with 17 or more carries: in those he had 9 games with TDs.

The Colts need a run game, he's a free agent next year, I think they give him a lot of work this week including receptions.

He's pretty much facing the end of his career in Indy if he doesn't turn the light on. Ingram was in exactly that spot last year and what do you know he found the switch.

But, again, he's been awful.

This is called skrewing with statistics:

13 career games with 4 or more receptions, he has 7 TDs in those games, his average stats:

17/62.42 rush (3.66 ypc), 4.72/38 rec, 0.5714 tot TD.

The Indianapolis Star expects Trent Richardson to handle third-down duties with Ahmad Bradshaw (broken leg) done for the season.

say hello to the next feature back of the dallas cowboys

I would weep for dallas fans if that were true. And I generally don't like dallas fans.

No one will question the judgment of the Cleveland front office ever again.

until they sign d.bowe

I hope not. Cleveland gives me hope. Ever since Knute Rockne focked up the game with the forward pass, I've been waiting a long time for a team to come along with the courage to enter the season without need of any WRs or QBs.

I must say when Cleveland traded Richardson to Indy I thought they were completely stupid for trading their only asset at the time. Now it seems like they trade raped Indy lol

The Browns got Manziel off of that trade and there's rumor he might not play this year. Both teams got raped.

Well that's the Browns front office mistake during the draft. The pick they acquired from Indy was the trade rape part. They just screwed up in the draft with all the hype behind Manzel. So far, all the qbs drafted in that class haven't been all that great. Maybe time will tell

Good news for Murray owners.

How so? It's sounding more like a raving clusterf*ck by the minute:

Trent Richardson said he plans to be the starting RB in Oakland. “I can’t wait to get the opportunity to get started."

Wow oakland is so bad its embarrassing. Way to use that cap wisely, giving a terrible RB more money than he probably thought he could get. "Well your awful and your market is at minimum contract value. We will pay you 2 mil a year and even more with incentives!" "Umm...ok!" Awful.

Won't affect LMurray in 2015 at all. At 3.3 yds a pop TRich isn't expected in Bay Area from Indy until mid-December

Matt Millen was never this bad. Even if you didn't like what he was doing, you could at least piece together and understand the logic behind it.

Watching the Raiders, it's like they just dial everybody's telephone number and sign anybody that doesn't hang up on them.

That actually sounds like a legitimate explanation of the raiders decisions

How the HELL does a guy like this continuously fool so many? This signing MAKES 0 sense especially with Murray and Helu in the backfield. They can draft a RB on draft day to add depth.
