    Chase or Jefferson?

To me, this one is easy. Jefferson (but i also hate the Bengals, so there is that)

    Keeper help needed

Im in an 8 team league Non PPR standard scoring and we can keep up to 5 keepers. The problem is i have 6 guys all in the top 30. I am keeping Chubb, Pollard, Jefferson, Lamb and i also have Amon St Brown and Najee Harris. St brown is ranked higher in every ranking, but i cant figure out if that is better than keeping the extra running back for the year. Running backs are pretty much all kept every year, so i dont know if the depth of Harris is better than the depth of St Brown. we start 2 RB and 2 WR, no flex or anything. The first 5 rounds are keeper rounds for us with everyone picking from either their own players or whats not kept until the first 5 rounds are filled. That is the top 40 players roughly. Given that, and me keeping 5 players, my first actual pick will be the equivalent of pick 45 and after the keeper rounds, the draft is a traditional S curve. I am a Steelers fan and dont want to cloud my judgement with Harris but i have a hard time getting over the value of RB as Im pretty old school. Anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated and what people think of who might be better strictly for this year and who is better for mulitple years if there is a difference. Also, if it is a factor, whoever I dont keep will be snapped up by another team in the keeper rounds so I would potentially be giving another team help for their roster. thanks for any input

    BELL / MIXON

ah, yes, i thought you were the mixon owner as well. if you are the bell owner and can get mixon i would take it. if bell comes back and plays with conner you have problems with the timeshare, but with that trade, you would at least have a starter in mixon, and if bell doesnt play, you have mixon and conner, 2 starters, instead of playing either bell or conner each with along with someone else.
  4. wow, im not sure, gurley is better than gordon and golladay is better than boyd, so it seems both players you are getting are better than what you give up. having said that, the previous posters bring up good points about your team already being good so why change. im not sure i could pass up that trade, but not sure it matters either. (as a side note, nothing is more important that the info contained in weepaw's signature, that decision affects your eternity)

Need trade help!? Should I do this trade?

Wouldnt hesitate to do this. you are getting the best player in the trade. i would do this without getting the other 2 even and the previous posts mentions getting ekeler as a bonus to cover your melvin gordon injury is a bonus. I dont believe in hyde and getting clement is ok to add depth. I dont think Chris Thompson is much so you arent giving up anything in my opinion. Burton is good, but unreliable because the bears offense and you know kelce is used and has a track record. jump on it before he realizes it and takes it away.

    BELL / MIXON

I absolutely would not do that. I am a steelers fan and so i keep up with a lot of the news on them and also i hate the bengals. I do also have mixon on my team and if he is not hurt, he is very good. even if bell does play (and i hope he does not) he will not be as good since conner will continue to play and take more playing time away, so i think bell's value is not as high as it was preseason. having said all that, bell could come back and light the world on fire, or be traded to a new team and put up great numbers, but this is risk/reward and with mixon i think you have a pretty good RB and it's not worth the risk (and the possibility that he doesnt play at all is too great compared to the possibility that mixon will be as good as bell the ROS). the 2nd question about the value, my opinion is, if i drafted bell, unless i could get a big time RB in return, my position would be to just hold on this point and hope, so i dont see the bell owner trading. why not just wait it out after waiting this long. now having said that if i was the bell owner and someone offered me mixon, i would make that trade. you would be getting a very good RB and giving up a headache that is unreliable. bottom line: if im the bell owner, i make this trade, if im the mixon owner, i do not.

    Mix emotions on this trade

i personally think you made a great move. having jones can be frustrating, but i wouldve given up those 2 for him in a heartbeat. i just recently traded AP and TY Hilton for him to give some context for my opinion. Jones almost always gets yardage at least and if the TDs ever come. Dak can have great games, but i wouldnt bank on that and baldwin is hit or miss to me, so i wouldve made that trade.

    Trade advice

Thanks for the reply, i agree 3 TE is too much, in fact i rarely have 2 TE which is why i wanted to move him. but my concern is that while i think its fair in value, i would never get to use Freeman and its more likely that i have 2 TE injured and use the 3rd than have 4 RB hurt (and even then i have bernard if mixon goes down again) and use freeman. i looked over his team and he doesnt really have much where i could get more. the only option i thought was to try and include brees with kittle and get Rodgers back with Freeman, but there is a debate on who the better QB is for the rest of the season. This site has Brees higher anyway (and rodgers is hurt). i would prefer to upgrade my WR with kittle, but this guy is the only one who has responded. no one else seems interested. btw his roster winston, rodgers, dalton kamara, michel, freeman, aaron jones, buck allen, ito smith keenan allen, thielen, will fuller, allison rudolph, engram

    Trade advice

i currently have 3 TE: kittle, trey burton and njoku. i dont need all 3 and i received an offer of Royce Freeman or kittle. i am not confident in kittle anyway but not sure if the trade actually benefits me at all. He is currently the #5 TE, but i like Njoku more anyway so i thought i could strengthen another positon by parting with kittle while his value is high. my team is currently. brees barkley, mixon, conner, collins, ingram and bernard hopkins, j jones, amari cooper, marvin jones, kittle, burton, njoku i already traded some RB depth giving up AP and TY Hilton (before he got hurt) to get J Jones, but im not sure adding freeman would do anything as i cant really see any time i would actually play him without a rash of injuries. i like the idea of having freeman because he could take over the role eventually, but while i think the trade is fair, im just not sure if it does anything other than unload kittle. i currently have to sit 2 RB each eweek who would be starters on most teams by choosing between barkley, mixon, conner and ingram. Conner could lose value if bell ever plays, but even then i still have 3 stud RB ahead of royce. any thoughts? btw his roster winston, rodgers, dalton kamara, michel, freeman, aaron jones, buck allen, ito smith keenan allen, thielen, will fuller, allison rudolph, engram

    D. Thomas, T. Williams or Diggs tonight?

I personally like Diggs, but on all the rankings i use, they are literally back to back on all of them. I like Williams as well, but i would rule him out compared to the other 2. of course that means he will explode, but i would take Diggs myself.

    RB help

Thanks guys, that makes sense. I think i'll take that advice. I think you are probably right about the waiver wire activity as well. woodhead does appear to be the odd man out for me too. Thanks for the advice. P.S. some really great verses there too. Just finished Proverbs the other day and into Isaiah now so those were especially fresh in my mind.

    RB help

hey guys, i own David Johnson and Ezekiel Elliot, so needless to say my RB is a little up in the air right now. I mightve dodges a bullet with Elliot but my real question is whether my backups are better than whats out there. i have Hyde, CJ Anderson, Tevin Coleman, Derrick Henry and then Woodhead who is also hurt. so basically i wanted some opinions on whether guys like Cohen or david johnsons backup are better than my current backups. the waiver wire also has johnathon stewart, gio bernard and jeremy hill. i own the #1 waiver wire slot currently and just dont know if using it on any of those guys is worth it over my current crop of backups. thanks QB- Brees, Winston RB- DJ, Elliot, Hyde, Anderson, Coleman, Henry, Woodhead WR- J Nelson, M. Thomas, Crabtree, E. Sanders, Tyrell WIlliams TE- Walker, Doyle D- Pitt K-Crosby

Thanks, i agree it is good value for him, no doubt, just concerned about weakening my bench by doing it.

    Trade help

My team has been ok, and after the draft i was loaded with RB. My top receiver Keenan Allen went down. I feel I am thin at WR now. currently my team is qb - brady, bortles rb - D Johnson, L Miller, M Gordon, Ryan Matthews, Christine Michaels wr - Mike Evans, Alshon Jeffery, Willie Snead, Terrelle Pryor, Randall Cobb te - J Thomas, Gates, Hunter I just traded L Murray for Alshon Jeffery to try and help my team and ive been shopping R Matthews as i dont really like to count on him. I have just been offered a trade of Deandre Hopkins for Melvin Gordon. Ive wanted to unload Gordon on a high note for a while now until i made the trade to give up L murray and got jeffery, but am concerned with my only having michaels and matthews to backup my RB and also Hopkins has been way down so far. Is this a good deal given my situation? standard scoring
