wiffleball 4,639 Posted June 28, 2018 nothing you guys can do about this. I'm just talking it out for my own self. But given my family history, it's worrisome. At least it's isolated. Deep in the recesses of my brain, there's an intermittent memory of me going to Los Angeles for job interview. It had to been really fast. Like I remember pulling up to a really nice hotel and it was already dark and damned if I have much else left in the brain box. I don't remember who I was to meet with or meeting with them or anything else. Car service, beautiful hotel, suit, nothing. I don't even think I spent the night. It's damn scary. I don't mind forgetting the name of the Fort Hood Shooter. I definitely don't mind forgetting the dates of family birthdays. But this is a whole experience. I have just about nothing to show for it memory wise. Almost like it was a dream, that I have this awful feeling it wasn't. Worst part is. We all have these things where we take some comfort knowing that and some point it random the memory will spark. But it's been two three years now and I think it's just flat-out freaking gone. fandandy 3,311 Posted June 28, 2018 Search the bored for really old threads where you mention a job interview in California and the subsequent geek meet. I'm thinking one of these west coast weirdos slipped you a roofie and had their way with you. Do you have any intermittent memories of being ridden bare back?

MTSkiBum 1,594 Posted June 28, 2018 I have memory issues. There are co-workers that work on the same floor as me that I have been introduced to many(5-10) times that I see almost every day and I cannot remember their names. You cannot imagine how big of jackass I feel like walking down the hall and people talk to me like they know me and I have no clue who they are. I leave the keys in the door overnight and then cannot find them in the morning. I can lose almost anything in any location. Normal every day things that other people do not struggle with I fail completely at. However, I can remember the exact line of code and procedure name in a database that contains thousands of procedures even if I only looked at it once or twice a few years ago. I remember almost every mathmatic equation I look at easily. I barely studied in college even in classes that other chem e's struggled in like quantum mechanics and transport. I do not know why my memory works this way.

SenatorRock 708 Posted June 28, 2018 You ever seen Lost? It is probably just that. In the other timeline the Wiff who made it back from the island went to a job interview in LA at the hotel. And afterwards some old bald guy tried to kill you. Just go to the church, everyone is waiting.

He said David. Its daniel. But ask him the square footage of any one of the thousands of houses hes bought and sold over the years, and he can tell you.
