Callahanjosh5 0 Posted September 4, 2015 I took gronk at the turn and was and am still worried about my team a little bit. Here it is. 1. Gronk 2. D. Thomas 3. B. Cooks. 4. L. Murray 5. D. Martin 6. T. Brady Forget where people went after this but this is a guess 7. D. Jackson 8. C.J. Spiller 9. D. Funchess 10. T. Coleman 11. T. Bridgewater 12. D. Johnson 13. Knile Davis 14. Brian Quick 15. K 16. D I waited a while for RB and they have some boom or bust potential but I think the team turned out fairly well. This was a draft done before the third preseason game
nordwave 2 Posted September 4, 2015 How did your team pan out if you took Gronk in the 1st round??? RBs get thin quickly, so for me, Gronk at the end of the first must be paired with an RB in the second. Here are my starters from a recent draft at 1.12, taking Murray at 2.1 QB - Bradford RB - D. Murray, R. Jennings WR - A. Johnson, J. Maclin, A. Robinson TE - Gronk
Swampdonkey 5 Posted September 4, 2015 I've never been ballsy enough to take a tight end in the first but if I did I'd pair with gore and another rb in a row I think

Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 5, 2015 I got him early in the 2nd right before our bandwagon Pats fan could take him. His ceiling is possibly the greatest single fantasy football season ever put forth by a TE. I say that without a hint of irony. I hate the Patriots but I would be terrified of facing Brady/Gronk in fantasy this season. I'm genuinely shocked if he isn't consistently going at the back of the first in the majority of drafts held after the suspension was overturned.

Brady You can't do any better than this. Even if Latavius & Martin bust... you're going to be in every game every week with those other 4 starters. And if those RBs excel... or you find the next great one off the waiver wire... your team's ceiling is league-devastator.

I got Gronk at 2.5 (Lacy in 1st round) in my 10 team redraft money league and Brady in the 5th round. I'm optimistic about the season but am concerned about the lack of WRs in N.E. Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted September 7, 2015 I like Grahams value better in the third. I dont think he will have as many yards, but they may be on par as far as tds.
LunaTick 29 Posted September 7, 2015 I know of one Fantasy talking head trying to convince the masses Gronk should be taken high in the first round. This due to relative positional value. However, I cannot accept this, as the relative value to WR is to great, imo, to pass up on 9 wr first. Argument can be made he will be a consistent week to week scorer. Thus as a late Second round or early third he should be taken. Brady issue as it exists today, and expectations of this. I see Gronk being a more certain value. I don't expect an appelate court to fit this matter into their calendar until, at earliest, late in the season. Likely will be addressed after the season. Which tiem I expect Brady might retire.
