Mike FF Today 607 Posted April 27, 2015 I just posted Justin's final mock draft. The top five remain the same but Gurley is the high riser, checking in at No.6 to the Jets.
petekrum 20 Posted April 27, 2015 I just don't see any way Gurley goes that high.
Mike FF Today 607 Posted April 27, 2015 I think that's a little on the high side myself, but as we all know the draft throw's surprises at us every year and the one thing NFL GMs will lean toward above all else is talent. Gurley's injury history is his biggest knock, but with the continuing improvements made on the medical, rehab front over the years, I won't be shocked if goes in the top ten. petekrum 20 Posted April 27, 2015 Yeah, I've heard all the comments on how he is supposedly rising up draft boards the last few days, but I also make it a point to discount any blurb I hear about how much a team likes so and so. That's all smoke and mirrors, trying to influence someone to come up and pay for your pick.
Mike FF Today 607 Posted April 27, 2015 No question, there are certainly a lot of smokescreens this time of year.
petekrum 20 Posted April 27, 2015 Gurley may very well end up going high, but it will be to a team that has expressed no interest and kept below the radar.
R8RMick 242 Posted April 28, 2015 I don't see Gordon falling all the way to Dallas. Also, Oakland will select Amari Cooper over Kevin White.
shovelheadt 61 Posted April 28, 2015 I see no way the Bengals grab Marcus Peters with Kirkpatrick and Denard sitting there. They've also spent a lot of time over the past few years trying to get away from the Chris Henry/Odell Thurman disasters. Primary needs on this team are... Tier 1 - OT and LB (Whitworth getting on in years, Andre Smith getting dinged up, and I believe both contracts are up. Rey Maualuga getting on in years as well and Burfict is one good tackle away from having to retire) Tier 2 - this is a best available at DT, CB, WR and TE (Peko getting old, Geno Atkins still recovering from the ACL, I think all 3 WRs need contracts next year as well, need a running mate for Eifert with Gresham moving on) Purely speaking to his mock, I believe they'd go with Humpries or Flowers at OT, or possibly Landon Collins (they'd love nothing more than to stick it to the Steelers who have an obvious need in the secondary)

Followed by a CB, DT, TE, S and WR.
Cruzer 1,992 Posted May 27, 2015 This has R. Gregory as a top 5 talent going to Philly at #20. It also has B. Jones as somebody they might also take. Dallas ended up getting them both.
