bfros 53 Posted September 17, 2018 Dude in my league just put D. Johnson on the trade block. Id like to make an offer. He wants an RB or pair of RBs as compensation. What Would you offer if you were me? Standard scoring. My RBs: Bell, Fournette, mixon, A.Collins Ingram, J.Williams, A. Jones, Conner I was thinking Collins and J.Williams (then hope A.jones takes over). Or Conner straight up.
kilroy69 993 Posted September 17, 2018 Have you seen the dumpsterfire that is the cards? This is not the palmer led team of yore that was helmed by a great OC. This is sam bradford throwing for less than 250 yards...in 2 games. The offensive line that is like swiss cheese. Whyyyyyyyy would you want him.

tanatastic 2,061 Posted September 17, 2018 Trading in FF is never absolute as we are always just speculating. Can’t count how many deals end up opposite of how people think they will go. Zona could get it together, or Rosen could start and change the team dramatically. If you can get something of Value, fine, it that would be surprised if that dude isn’t just looking for someone to assume the risk and pay near full price like most people usually do.
mobb_deep 917 Posted September 17, 2018 DJ does not have a friendly run schedule the next 5-6 weeks. Chicago, SF x 2, Minny and Denver. I dont see him gaining any value in the short term. He has some nice matchups down the stretch though. Including Detroit and Atlanta in the fantasy playoffs. Id wait a few more weeks, unless you feel you dont need an RB in the short term. bfros 53 Posted September 17, 2018 Whats a good buy low, given my RBs? I know the Cardinals suck but I think Bradford will get pulled eventually and they will figure it out. Johnson is very talented. quote name="Frozenbeernuts" post="6311668" timestamp="1537212773"] Either offer will net you a positive imo

cdogge 17 Posted September 17, 2018 Given your team, I see minimal risk trading Collins and Williams. I would probably agree with this... Otherwise I'd stay away for the reasons mentioned above. His value might actually come down more before going up.
yanko 11 Posted September 17, 2018 Why would the DJ owner trade 1 RB shitting the bed for 2 shitting the bed (ie Collins and Williams)? It would make more sense for him to trade for someone currently doing well / in good offenses, but not a guarantee to keep it up (ex. Lindsey, Breida, Ajay, etc) or another high round pick not currently scoring (ex. Cook).

They would rather go down with the ship unless they can get a high upside guy or two later rounders playing great like Chris Thompson and Juju or something. bfros 53 Posted September 17, 2018 He wants J.Williams and A.Jones (to lock down GB backfield) and A.Collins. Or he'll take Conner and Mixon (ride Conner hoping Bell is out long term and then ride Mixon when he's back in a few weeks). I'm not trading Conner/Mixon (too rich).....but Williams/Jones/Collins I might do. He has no RB depth (drafted RB/WR/WR/TE/WR).

Also he would have to drop 2 players to make room for that.

tanatastic 2,061 Posted September 17, 2018 Whenever a guy who is drafted high and supposed to be good has a bad game or even a bad few games, I ask myself...what if next week he goes out and has 2tds? How would you feel about him then? If you would feel good about him, you should relax. Kelce last week is a great example. The sky is falling! Kelce is obsolete in the offense! Well, what if he goes out and has 2tds next week?
crackills 19 Posted September 17, 2018 its funny this topic came up .. I am DJ owner and was thinking of putting him up for a trade, i need another RB. The issue is that overall, most rbs have underperformed so far. No one is going to give you a top 5rb for him, everyone else is not worth the risk of AZ turning it around at some point. Gepetto 979 Posted September 18, 2018 I actually like Jamaal Williams and Alex Collins but I like David Johnson more than both, I'd take that trade and get David Johnson. I drafted David Johnson and Alex Collins and wanted J Williams too. I think it's a fair offer.

listen2me 23 1,537 Posted September 18, 2018 Why was DJ such a hot pick towards the prime of fantasy drafts? Because Bell and Zeke had questions? Seems like DJ got maxe into a god simply because alther options took a hit. Im usually a fan of picking in the top 5. Awful year for it.
weepaws 2,452 Posted September 18, 2018 Hard to say that about picking in the top five after week two. And that really depends on ones personal rankings. Hopefully one didnt t keep Bell in the top five during ones draft, and saw the awful product that Zona was going to field. Havent even made it to the bye weeks yet, and so many owerns are already crying. After week two Im now 6-2 , and getting ready for another amazing weekend of football. God Bless.

AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted September 18, 2018 Could DJ just end up being the 2016 version of Todd Gurley? Great player on a horrible team with a clueless coaching staff. I think an eventual switch to Rosen and the coaching staff realizing what they have in him (already admitted this week he needs to be better utilized) will do wonders for him. SexyRexy 60 Posted September 18, 2018 The cards have looked disgusting and DJ while he looks good on paper is a dumpster fire in that offense, regardless of what changes they make. I bailed on DJ yesterday. DJ/Allison/Callaway I got Josh Gordon/Carlos Hyde/Jamison Crowder I honestly think Hyde and DJ are going to be just about equal ROS.
