marley 0 Posted August 21, 2006 I was unexpectedly submarined by another team in my draft when he took Ladell Betts earlier than I thought he should go (8th or 9th round). I have Portis on my team and would like to have Betts as insurance. With that said, should I trade either Mike Bell or Addai for Betts as insurance? If you give up Addai for Betts, then you're giving up a potential starter for a guy (Betts), who's going back to the bench once Portis is healthy. And no way can you give up Bell for him since he could be the starting RB in the Denver offense. Stay put. You can make due starting Parker and Bell/Addai if Portis misses any time.
