    Going to the Super Bowl?

Thanks - I'll look into Mobile, AL. Don't think I was at your tailgate - I was at one with all purple in lot 52.

    Going to the Super Bowl?

Went to the wild card game vs. Indy and made the trip up to foxboro this past weekend. Quick sidenote that I feel I should mention - Pats fans were classy and welcoming, despite the reputation that preceded them. In any case, I'm considering making the trip to NO to see my boys play in the big one. Wanted to see if anyone on here could weigh in with advice based on their past experiences... - tickets to the game? I've heard wait until the day of and scalp. Anyone done it with success? - places to stay? Anyone gone in new Orleans and stayed somewhere outside the city on the cheap? - flights? Obviously not flying into new Orleans, but considering Jackson, panama city, Atlanta, and other cities. Again, anyone done it? TIA

    Wild Card weekend betting lines

CIN Money Line - They are trending upward while HOU is spiraling downward. CIN will win the battle in the trenches. GB -8 - MIN's only threat is Peterson. Yes, they just played a close game, but MIN was playing for their playoff lives and GB was simply playing for seeding. I won't bet against Rodgers here - the offense is too explosive. BAL -6.5 - Yes, I'm a homer. Yes, Baltimore looked like crap for the second half of the season. However, in week 16, I saw some promising things. I saw Caldwell calling plays that we've been begging Cam to call all season, and they worked. Ellerbe is healthy now. The starting offense rested in week 17. Harbaugh/Flacco/Rice have a great record in the first round of the postseason and the place is going to be electric. Maybe I'm excited, but I'll take BAL here. SEA -2.5 - SEA is looking like a Super Bowl team. Probably have a better DEF than SF. Running game has been great second half of the season. They took the chains off of Russell Wilson and it was a good move. WASH has looked very strong as of late, but SEA has looked stronger.
  4. Lions may allow a lot of points, but Arizona doesn't have the ability to score them. Lions D/ST are a strong play in Week 15.

Who gets most overpaid award for 2009?

    Ravens - Domonique Foxworth-less. Signed a 4-year, $27.2M contract. -- the worst part is $16.5M is GUARANTEED!

    Trade Ray Rice?

Your concern is valid in having 3 ravens in your starting lineup. Even as a ravens fan, I wouldn't advise that, as we have 2 games vs. Pitt, 1 vs. Denver, and 1 vs. Cinci left on the schedule. That being said, I don't love the trade. Jennings isn't getting the job done this year, and it's not his fault. I don't see their O-line improving which means I don't see Jennings' production improving. SJax is good, but I would shop Rice around some more. I have Rice in my league and am looking to do something similar... see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=355339
  7. my team consists of: Start 2 RBs: ADP Rice SJax Mendenhall and Parker Bradshaw Start 3 WRs: Welker Breaston Holt TO My thoughts in accepting Colston and Barber are that I can leave that trade with a top tier WR and STILL have RB trade bait. I do think Wayne is better though. What's the call?

    Wayne's injury

Yahoo's blurbs say that he didn't look like he had the same burst in the second half and he only had 7 yards receiving after the groin was injured. He had an MRI yesterday and I haven't heard anything. Is this something that should concern us?
  9. That's interesting as I am in the same boat. I'm looking to deal one of my RBs (Sjax, Rice, Mendenhall, ADP) for a top WR. From shopping them, Rice's value is much higher than SJax right now. I can't speak relative to R Brown. But if you value them similarly, I would trade Rice because you'll be able to get a ton more for him. As you could tell from the post you answered of mine, I was offered Wayne for Rice, and could only get offered Ochocinco for SJax. That being said, Rice is at the top of his game while I think that SJax has room to grow. I have a hard time letting go of Rice because the Ravens provide a hell of a lot more red zone opportunities than the Rams. It's a tough, but good situation to be in. In all honesty, I am thinking of recommending to deal R Brown as R Williams' presence in that offense is increasing. See what you can get for R Brown....then SJax...then Rice. HTH.

Is Forte the better RB than Gore?

I agree with the last post in that you'd be letting value slip away in your keeper league by letting go of Forte and getting Gore - a non-keeper instead. Thanks for answering mine.

    Trade for Moreno...

I agree with above. I would offer Manningham; if he declines, I'd offer Manningham & Breaston. Hold onto Austin - he's going to do some damage. Thanks for answering mine.
  12. My team has: ADP Rice Sjax Mendenhall Bradshaw Welker Breaston Holt TO I can trade away Sjax for 85 or I can trade R Rice for Wayne... ...or both?

Loaded at RB... Trying to trade

I appreciate your input. I agree that Bradshaw looks good this year and I don't have a ton of confidence in Favre. That being said, another owner has proposed: I give Orton and Rice. I get Cassel and Fitzgerald. If I accept that, and I accept the Favre/Jacobs deal, my team becomes this: Cutler/Favre/Cassel/Sanchez ADP/SJax/Jacobs Fitzgerald/Welker/Breaston/Holt/Owens Thoughts???

Loaded at RB... Trying to trade

Now I've been asked about the following: I give Bradshaw and Mendenhall. I get Favre and Jacobs. I could then try to turn one of my players (Sjax, Jacobs, Favre, etc.) for WR help. Thoughts??

    RB trade?

Thanks for answering mine. I think it is a fair offer, but I don't think he'll accept. I think Sjax actually has more upside right now than LT or Westbrook. If SJax has 2 touchdowns right now, everyone would want him. He'll get in the end zone this week against Detroit and everyone will think twice.
