wiffleball 4,640 Posted March 28, 2017 Anybody still watching this? I'm trying to watch the last few EPs before the season finale. I pretty much stopped more or less when they killed of Angel's first partner. - Not that he was integral to the series, just happened that way. And, they just got too many story-within - a story / plot-twisty (hey the writers are bored!) for me. Basically, Castle and Bones were the same - without the gross-out factor. - And Castle had the hotter chick and more humor and less hard to believe writing. Other than the increasingly ridiculous writing - Emily Deschannel was either permanently pregnant - I seriously thought that was the case - or she got FAAAAAAYUUUUUTTTT during the show. She was mildly cute in the 'obtainable' level ten years ago, but just got fatter and fatter. Add in that she plays an unlikable character - and, nothing to watch here. Still, Angel is freaking timeless. His residuals must rock - THREE different successful series? And no sign of slowing down. Still, ten years is a hard goal for any show. But, it's time it went away.
