Could use some help - Hogan or Cohen?

Recommended Posts

I'm in a 12-team, PPR keeper league that allows us to carry over two players at a cost of the round they were selected in 2017 (or sacrifice a 12th round pick if acquired as an un-drafted FA). Standard roster setup . . . 1 QB & a flex. I'm picking 11th.

My first keeper is JuJu who will cost me a 12th round pick. The second keeper I'm considering is either Chris Hogan for an 8th round pick or Tarik Cohen for an 11th round pick. Both well below their current ADP but highly debatable which one carries more value at that spot.

For context, the only 1st round talent that is being kept this year by another team is Alvin Kamara - so a lot of players are available.

So - if you had the 11th pick in this draft, would you keep Hogan or Cohen?

Thanks!

Hogan no doubt. You can still get Cohen more reasonably than Hogan at this point also while going through the draft.

Hogan. I see Cohen being overvalued this year. Cohen will have a few great plays but then the next week might have 1 carry and 2 catches for 15 yards. Cohen just doesn't seem like a consistent fantasy guy but a great team guy for Chicago fans. Hogan could be a legit WR2 this year.

Thanks guys, been thinking on this one an running some mocks and I agree. Hogan can be a legit WR1 for the first 4 games while Edelman is out and a solid WR1/2 for the remainder of the season, good value for an 8th rnd pick. Appreciate the insight.

Yep feel good about Hogan, there is plenty of options for an RB3 available late in the drafts this year, but I'm finding a pretty steep drop in the WR talent after round 6 Hogan/Edelman/Sanders
