$epphori$ 118 Posted August 12, 2017 The 1k is a tough sell. but I thought this is what the thread is about? predicting very unlikely outcomes? Like the JETS or Bills making the playoffs.

tanatastic 2,061 Posted August 13, 2017 Pats finish undefeated Cooks 17 TDs Gillisee 12 TDS Gronk 18 TDS Brady 56 TDS Make it Cooks 1700yds instead of tds and it's not that crazy of a prediction, which is scary.

Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted August 18, 2017 Phil Rivers is the top scoring fantasy QB. Boom. Shocking
montana 89 Posted August 19, 2017 1. AP will finish with more points than Ingram (even in PPR). 2. Fournette & Gurley will lead the way in highest drafted busts. 3. Corey Coleman breaks 1000 yards & has at least 6 TDs. 4. Jack Doyle finishes top 5 for TEs. 5. Big Ben goes down early in the year & the Steelers finish DFL in their Division. RaiderHaters Revenge 3,574 Posted August 21, 2017 I am on the Mariota finishes top 3 QB also Mccaffrey finishes top 5 in PPR RBs, and ahead of Mccoy, Gordon and Murray
TheUsualSuspect 207 Posted August 28, 2017 1. Melvin Gordon will lead the league in rushing this season. 2. 2017 BUSTS: Freeman, Mixon, Lynch 3. 2017 Sleeper, Jamaal Williams. 4. Cleveland Browns 10-6, make WC 5. Tom Brady retires.
Jedi Sensei 17 Posted August 28, 2017 Jay Cutler is a top 10-12 fantasy QB. I'm maybe drunk. One or both of those is true.
brotherbock 349 Posted August 28, 2017 A player will die on the field during play this year. The NFL will have players wear pink gloves and shoes for two weeks this season, and we will thereby have a cure for breast cancer by March. At least one player will go home after the game and beat his girlfriend while still wearing his pink breast cancer gloves. Tyrell Williams will lead the league in TDs. I wouldn't be shocked if it happened, but I would project it. 2. I could see that as well. 3. I hope you're right (I have him in my keeper league), but I'm not as optimistic 4. I don't see this happening at all 5. This WILL NOT happen... as in, they finish last. Even with a backup for 16 games, they'll win a half dozen games I believe. I don't see the Browns and Ravens combining for that many wins. Overall, good post.
TBayXXXVII 2,113 Posted August 29, 2017 I am on the Mariota finishes top 3 QB also Mccaffrey finishes top 5 in PPR RBs, and ahead of Mccoy, Gordon and Murray I can see the second happening... but I'd bet the under on the first.

brotherbock 349 Posted August 29, 2017 Jack Doyle Top 5 TE 4. I don't see this happening at all If Luck gets on the field soon, Doyle is top 10. Top 5 is pushing is a bit, but this is 'Outrageous' predictions I guess If Luck misses significant time (the jerk), Doyle is 15th TE.

brotherbock 349 Posted August 30, 2017 Well that's a fun thought, that gives us something to root for. I wouldn't root for it myself, just thinking it will happen one of these days. Of course, I was at a GB/Det game in Detroit where local fans sitting around me were cheering and happy as Don Beebe was carted off the field on a stretcher in a neck brace. So you never know. brotherbock 349 Posted August 30, 2017 That's because you were in Detroit, the most miserable city is the States. Word. That city even caused Brett Favre to throw a pick six from his knees that game, and caused another Packer fan to take a swing at me after the game. It's like Ted Nugent's madness just infects you. lesjroza 70 Posted October 6, 2017 ...............not just those you think MAY I'll start From weeks 1 - 12 (which comprises nearly the whole FF regular season), Chris Hogan will outscore Julian Edelman in standard and also be within spitting distance in PPR scoring. I gotta do the chest bump and say the O.P. (made at a point where there was media speculation Hogan could be cut)............ won this thread already lol How do you feel when you reflect on your prediction at the quarter pole? Is it happening as you thought? Not yet, but still think it will? or What was I thinking?
