kilroy69 993 Posted June 19, 2011 1.THE OFFICE. This is such a focking stupid show. I find myself watching sometimes to see if im missing something. like if i see that one episode that makes it all worth while and funny.....nope. It just ends the same way. Me turning the station wondering whose d!ck carrell was sucking to have that pos last that long. 2. Literally ANYTHING with David Caruso. anything at all. Any episode of any show he has ever been in is terrible. 3. Deadwood. Gave it a chance......hated it and I am usually down for the HBO originals. 4. Im gonna go back a ways on this but I always hated Laverne & Shirley. It was just some annoying ass women. Hows that diff from most of our daily lives? 5.LOST. Give me a focking break. I watched Gilligans island as a kid. I dont need another focking island show. Its rare that a show actually generated more hate the more I watched it. Just a focking awful show and people were soooooooo crazy for this pos.

rholio 339 Posted June 19, 2011 Some dipstick will inevitably say Seinfeld. Probably... it's nowhere near my favorite, and seems overrated... thing is, it was pretty consistent at being entertaining, which most shows aren't. I don't rate it as highly as most, but it was a good show.

patweisers44 697 Posted June 20, 2011 Some dipstick will inevitably say Seinfeld. First run it was pretty good, however it really doesnt stand the test of time in my opinion. I cant stand to watch it in reruns. The Office - a bunch of really unfunny characters thrown together around some dumb plotlines. Just plain stupid. Friends - Way overrated. redtodd 7 Posted June 20, 2011 OK, here are mine: The Office - It can be good, but I thought there were more mediocre episodes than great ones after the 1st season. Too many times it went over the top. 30 Rock - I can be pretty funny, but it is not quite as great as it is made out to be. It can be up and down for me, either hilarious or meh. Entourage (the last few seasons) - I used to love it, but the last season or two was pretty weak. 2-1/2 Men - I just don't get it. Sopranos - I know, I might be talking blasphemy. At times, it was great (especially the first two seasons), but there were a lot of episodes in the middle seasons that were wasted and served no purposed. Plus the psychiatrist scenes went way too long (was there really a reason to see her all those years later)? They also used the AJ character too much. At times, it seemed like the creator was intentionally throwing stuff out there intentionally to see if we would gobble his crap. Mad Men - Granted, I gave up after 4 episodes but it was BOOORRRRIIIING. MASH - Just don't quite get it. Deal or No Deal - Slow and drawn out. I might not mind if they cranked open the cases quicker and they had people with at least an ounce of mathematical skills. Star Trek - Dumb. Just dumb. titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted June 20, 2011 Mad Men - Granted, I gave up after 4 episodes but it was BOOORRRRIIIING. Good call. I bought the first season of that sh!t fest on dvd, based on the hype. It is terrible.
JT 137 Posted June 20, 2011 Lost Everybody Loves Raymond Six Feet Under Two & A Half Men How I Met Your Mother/Family Guy I'm assuming from it's longevity that HIMYM must get ratings; I would guess they're higher than Family Guy, though it certainly gets more public acclaim. They're equally unwatchable imo, so pick whichever based on whatever criteria you wish to use. Survivor may be the worst program ever to air, but I'm not sure it qualifies as a series. titans&bucs&bearsohmy! 2,745 Posted June 20, 2011 All Reality Shows (including Survivor, AI, DWTS, etc.) This is WHY all the other shows are overrated. How many real, honest to god tv shows are even on anymore? A lot less than there used to be.

JT 137 Posted June 20, 2011 This is WHY all the other shows are overrated. How many real, honest to god tv shows are even on anymore? A lot less than there used to be. Isn't that offset by the sheer number of channels/networks? There are new shows in production that air on networks I never watch, along with original series on FX, TNT, etc. Aren't those the shows displaced by reality tv? I laugh every single episode even though I can tell you within the first 2 min of the show whats going to happen. Early MASH, with Frank, Trapper, and Henry was funny. Later MASH with Charles, BJ, and, to a lesser extent, Potter, was a preachy, unfunny suck-fest. Anyone saying Deadwood is COCKSUCKAH! Mad Men is one of my favorite shows but I can see where it's not for everyone. It's a show where you really have to get to know and appreciate the characters. Now it just takes longer to surf to determine there is nothing on. And most of the crap on the cable networks is garbage like cake boss, pawn stars, or fattest fattie 2. WhiteWonder 2,170 Posted June 21, 2011 Scrubs, the office, always sunny in phillthy, flight of the concordes, Definitely more I can't think of right now. Never was a huge seinfeld fan. And I enjoy some of the shows already mentioned like everyone loves raymond. It was a cleaner, family comedy so you cool people always say it sucked.

CantTouchThis 23 Posted June 21, 2011 The Office is the only sitcom I watch, so what do I know though. I think it's brilliant. Love The Office. It's a show you HAVE to watch from the first episode to get the characters and see the plot and storyline unfold. They hit a wall after season 5, but I thought they recovered pretty nicely for season 7 after a pretty bad season 6. No lie, during the winter, I watched the first episode on netflix, and watched all 5 seasons they had on instant in 9 days. Super addicting when you get rolling, was watching 8-10 episodes at a time. Also, you really can't call a show like 30 Rock overrated. It's won awards, but it gets pretty crappy ratings, not a whole lot of people watch or really talk about it. And I think it is HIGHLY underrated in fact. Good mix of smart humor and randomness. My biggest current celeb crush by a long shot is Tina Fey, is one of the few female "comedians" that is actually very funny. I watch very little actual TV since I discovered netflix, hulu, ect. However, I will say... ANY sitcom before 1989. The Simpsons and Seinfeld changed sitcoms from being mind numbing and moderately funny at best to hysterical and entertaining. I have seen the "funniest" scenes or episodes to almost everyone of the popular 70s and 80s sitcoms, just terrible. Honestly I use to watch Lucy with my g-ma when I was growing up. THAT was funnier than anything prior to Seinfeld. Though I actually LOVE and am addicted to it...DEXTER is terribly flawed. One amazing character, the rest...meh to bad. Lundy was the best character other than Dexter and he died. Oh yeah, so was Doaks, but he lasted only 2 seasons. Dexter's ex is a terrible actor and plays a deplorable character, can't stand Deb at all. Plenty of plot holes and all story-lines besides the main one are really lame and uninteresting. Again, that being said, Dexter himself and his storyline are incredible enough to keep the show going. Hall is a crazy good actor. I want to look up Six Feet Under, but Netflix has it as a 3.0 for me, and Netflix is rarely wrong.....it knows me better than I know myself. Of course 99% of reality shows are terrible and incredibly unoriginal...besides Survivor but that got old after 3 seasons. I love Man vs. Wild even though it is "staged", in that he is not actually surviving, but he really does the things he does which is why everyone watches. supermike80 1,284 Posted June 21, 2011 I think the office is funny in parts, but it certainly isn't a laugh fest. As far as MASH, the only episodes I will watch are the ones with trapper. The minute I see BJ, I change the channel.

WhiteWonder 2,170 Posted June 21, 2011 as much as i can be anti seinfeld at times, you can't argue with its success. Entourage is one of my favorites even though I admit it has had a down season or 2. I think last season was a good rebound. A little sad it will be coming to an end this summer but i didnt realize just how long it had actually been on. I had many friends who were negative about it without ever seeing it. I sat them down and watched the first season on DVD and they were hooked. All of them. It was a great show for the first 3-4 seasons
