I'm pretty sure he'll be valuable when he gets back as I'd expect the Panthers to be battling for a playoff spot, so if you can navigate your bye weeks and hold him I think its a smart move. But it just depends on how many bench roster spots your league has. I'm in a league with 9 starters and 6 reserves, so no way I can hold him for the duration in that league. I have Woodhead currently on my IR spot, so is Olson a better IR stash? Could give me Gronk AND Olson heading into the playoffs. team's on sig line below. vash1012 19 Posted September 22, 2017 Same situation. I picked him up for my IR spot since I'm currently streaming weekly TEs after dropping Henry Hunter after his week 1 goose egg. Its a work league and people drop some odd players (Ameer Abdullah AFTER week 2? Didn't get him) so I didn't think anyone would pick him up after a goose egg. They did. I think I'd rather have Olsen on the IR than woodhead. I'm not sure i can foresee how Baltimore's RB's will be used going forward. Allen looks to be taking the Woodhead role. West may or may not stay healthy. Collins may take the West role. Woodhead may find his touches limited if they fear injury or want to keep him healthy for the playoffs. With Olsen, once he's back he's back to his expected role of TE1 and the panthers leading WR. Plus you've got Cohen who I think will cover what woodhead would have given you.
