Yup. Wrassling is 100% fake ladies and gents

Recommended Posts

When people say wrestling is fake, I believe that they're talking about how it's scripted, like a regular TV show. I don't think anyone doubts just how much risk these people are exposing themselves to, or how dangerous it can be.

By the way, that broken nose is a particularly ugly one.

Vicious. Just happened last night too.

Seth Rollins has a history of hurting people too. WWE banned him from using curb stomp because it was too dangerous.

I actually saw it happen. :ninja:

Rollins looks like he is not real careful in the ring, although a few of the punches he threw before that clearly missed their mark. Supposedly, Cena has a reputation for being heavy handed as well, so maybe it is karma.

By the way, "fake" just means that it is pre-determined, scripted and practiced beforehand. Wrasslin' is 100% fake. Now, they can and do get hurt because there are accidents and it is dangerous even though it is fake.

He never actually hurt anyone with it. The WWE banned it because they're facing a concussion lawsuit and the move looks vicious.

Doesn't make much sense, but lawyers...

For everyone out there that ever said wrestling is fake. Not one of them EVER walked up to Harley Race and said that to his face.

And duh people can still get hurt even though it's fake performance art.

Just look at The Bachelorette. 100% fake but those roses have thorns and people can die.

Remember when Jerry Lawler was feuding with Andy Kaufman?

100% REAL!

Not sure if people know this or not.

But Kaufman loved wrestling sooooo much. For all the work he ever did in the industry. He never once took any money for doing it.

When he died and his assets were gone through. He had all the checks that Jerry Lawler and Jerry Jarrett ever wrote him, in a folder uncashed.

Andy Kaufman was a focking genius. He practically invented trolling.

That is the truth... Today would be rough because one has to apologize for everything, but he was one of a kind...

In the PC everyone is offended and has to sue at the drop of a hat world we live in these days. He wouldn't last a day.

Never understood the attraction.

Muscle-headed wannabe athletes performing stunts in a ring. How is this even remotely watchable?

There are a million ways to ACCIDENTALLY break someone's nose. Failing to pull a stunt punch correctly is only one of them.

What a bonehead move by Rollins. He has to be more careful, even tho that is a tough move to sell. A knee to the face is pretty much a knee to the face any way you slice it.

I have always felt That wrestling was the direct equivalent Of women watching soap operas.

I usually call wrestling Rope Opera.
