AintNoStoppinMeNow 68 Posted October 2, 2015 JStew is back to his old self and injured looking more and more like he's not going to play. Goal line back #2 (behind Cam of course) Tolbert is also injured and not practicing. CAP and Fozzy Whittacker are the only two healthy backs left. I am NOT saying or predicting that CAP will have a Matt Jones type game and instantly become a WW add, however, if you have the room is he worth adding as a flier? I'll trust almost any back that comes out of the SEC and he was pretty impressive in the preseason. Thoughts?
Magnificent Bastard 190 Posted October 2, 2015 Been carrying him all year. If he doesn't do anything Sunday I think that will tell you what the coaching staff thinks of him. He has had to be getting reps all week. I'll have to cut bait if he doesn't get some run. I not even saying he has to do well, but he needs to see the field. tanatastic 2,061 Posted October 2, 2015 I drafted cap late but cut him last week. I had an epiphany that since I knew JStew wasn't a factor in the offense, why would anyone else be. He will just be in a Fozzy, Tolbert timeshare. RB doesn't thrive with Cam. I'd cut bait now or after this week, not worth the roster spot.
mahoney 9 Posted October 2, 2015 Tolbert and JStew back at practice today...
giraldi02 470 Posted October 3, 2015 He's a dynasty stash IMO. Maaaybe he does something near fantasy playoffs time. But barring deep benches I wouldn't even consider him as a end of the bench hold. Too many things have to go right for him to get relevancy
tanatastic 2,061 Posted October 3, 2015 Yea I just thought by week 6 id have a JStew clone for the cost of a last rounder. Then I realized I wouldnt have taken JStew even in the last round so its pointless.
giraldi02 470 Posted October 3, 2015 Its worth it to try and shoot for the moon with a pick like that. Particularly given Stewart's habitual mid-season injury. You still have two weeks to be right though!
Kent 228 Posted October 3, 2015 Cam Newton is the #1 RB in Carolina. And the goal line back.
weepaws 2,457 Posted October 3, 2015 Yeah he is just going to collect rust on the bench .
