***Stolen from requiem and modified.***

Waivers: Waivers will be limited in this league. There will be no waivers from the conclusion of the draft until NFL week 3 (meaning the week prior to the NFL’s 3rd week of games). In weeks 3, 6, and 9 only, there will be a 1 round draft in which each team can add one player to their roster. There is no need to cut a player to participate. The draft order will be set by league points scored – with the lowest going first. These three players are the only way in which you can alter your lineup in season other than through trading. The waiver draft will be run at the league forum on FFToday starting Tuesday at 3:00pm Forum time with each pick having 3 hour clock (clock suspended from 10:00pm Forum time to 8:00am Forum time). If you miss your pick – those behind you will be on the clock and can skip ahead of you – but you retain the right to pick any remaining free agents when you return to the Forum. However, you must pick by the end of that week. Once the day of the first game of the week starts, the waiver period ends (This may mean cutting the time limit down on weeks with Thursday games). You can mail your pick to the league commish to ensure it goes through if you don't have access.

Trading: Since this is a dynasty league – trade goals will vary from team to team. As such, all trades will be assumed to be okay. In cases where something seems collusionary, a challenge can be posed. Of the 14 teams not involved in the trade, it would take 9 reversal votes to reverse the trade. The vote ends when either (a) 6 votes for no reversal are cast, ( b ) 9 votes for reversal are cast, or © a week expires without either (a) or ( B ) happening in which case the trade stands. The annual trade deadline will be the Thursday prior to NFL week 13 at 5:00pm FFToday Forum time (Central). Trading will reopen the Thursday after the league champion is crowned also at 5:00pm FFToday Forum time (Central). Unbalanced trades will be allowed, so there is no need to match the number of players on each side with the single exception being that you can't trade a player for nothing. If you trade future picks, you still have to cut your roster down to 20 by March 1st, but you will be allowed to take supplemental picks immediately after the 4 round rookie draft is completed. If more than one team has supplemental picks to make, they will pick in the order they would have drafted until all teams have 24 players. This means any team that has more than 24 players after the draft will be forced to cut down to 24 so that every team starts with an even amount of players each season.

Off season cut downs: By March 1st at 5:00pm FFToday Forum time (Central), rosters must be cut down to 20.

Team name change game: The highest scoring team each week will have the opportunity to rename the lowest scoring team and change their logo. The change will be for the whole season, unless the team who's name was changed has the highest score for another week, in which case they can then rename their own team as well as renaming the low scoring team for that week. I will announce the high scoring team and the team they get to rename on Tuesday. The weekly winner will have until Friday night at 11:59PM to submit the new team name and/or logo to me. You do not HAVE to change anything, but you do need to submit me a mail stating your intent to decline renaming the low scoring team. If you do not at least send the mail opting out by Friday at 11:59, the lowest scoring team will have all day Saturday to rename your team! If the low scoring team fails to submit a team name change on Saturday, I personally will rename BOTH of your teams. Please refrain from using profanity, vulgarity, or nudity in the team names and logos. If I deem that your submissions are over the line, I may ask you to revise them a bit. If the low scoring team has already been renamed this season, the high scoring team will have the option of renaming the second lowest scoring team for the week instead. This rule is effective for week 7.

Any chance of appending the rules to include a waiver session prior to the season?

There is no need to cut a player to participate.
How will this work then? You are permitted to expand your roster?

you catch on quick

throughout the season your roster can expand by the one player per FA perios, and trades. Each year after the rookie draffts however, all teams will be back to 24.

Nothing here indicates when the rookie fraft will be expected to commence. Shall we perhaps make a decision on this and then be more specific in the rules?

OB1 - Since the cuts have been made in March, are there any roster restrictions at this point and time?

I'm chime in since these rules are basically a copyright infringement  of my Requiem for a League rules. No - basically the roster maximum only holds for that one moment of that one day in March.

I'll suggest a rule change - if you timed-out last time we did a free agent fraft, then your time to pick needs to be shortened. If you can't be online during the day, then just send a list to OB1 or CMT or else we'll be able to move on quickly. If you picked in time last time, then this wouldn't change anything for you.

HARSH = no clock - you and the next guy are both OTC at the same time but if you have a commish with a list then you get to have your pick first, otherwise that other geek can immediately pick

LESS HARSH = your timer just lasts for 30 minutes rather than the full 180

I'm going to propose the same for Requiem.

:o I'm all for the 30 minute clock for people that timed out the first time. These things really shouldn't take too long if people are paying attention.

Sounds good to me, we'll make that change for next year.
