8:45AM. Making my first drink of the day

Recommended Posts

Screw it. It's Saturday

Kids at work. I have no plans.

Alcohol and PS4 is my day.

And I've been up 3 hours already. It's acceptable

Damn Man, even back in the day, I had to have a noon boundary at least.

Not judging. Just know if I Kobyashi Maroo'd that boundary, it'd be game over within 525,600 minutes fer sure.

What're you swilling?

Homemade Bliddy Mary - Rekar vodka.

I'll probably switch to beer by noon.

Couple Sundays back a bunch of us came down to the beer hall at 9:30AM to help out a charity fundraiser- our "reward" for helping was free unlimited Bloddy Mary's.

I was passed out by 5PM

(I was in charge of making the drinks - big mistake)

Could not do unlimited Mary's.

It's not the booze. But I'm burping that acidic crap up for the next 2 days.

Yeah sometime during the day the Mary's became Vodka/Seltzer splash cranberry. It's all a blur.

Heard a lot of money was raised !!

Working 12 hours. Day 13 in a row.

Isn't there a labor law that prohibits 12 hours days for 14 straight days ?

There was in 1988 when I worked for NY Telephone- did 13 straight- mandatory day off then 13 more straight.

:bench:

No laws against that, unless there are states that have those laws

Been wanting rum lately. Realized grain/hops based drinks, or wine, my body can't take. Rum is fine. 8:36 AM here, having coffee.

Having a new beer from Maplewood brewery in Chicago. It's called Charlatan and it's an American pale ale

Seriously, that's about 15 more words than I need to hear about a beer.

Meh - we had our first at 8:15, headed to the 1st tee.

Did the same thing yesterday. There's a scramble here that my friends company puts on every year to benefit Children's Hospital. Best here. They get nurses to dress up and volunteer. Food and drinks on every other hole. They do a ball drop from a crane that's 50/50. Many other things to win prizes. Top notch. Weather is good. Decent course. Fun day from beginning to end.

Started drinking at sign in. Bloody Mary's and shots And beers all day. It's fun watching drunks try and play golf.

Cruz......What is the most ridiculous score you've ever seeen posted at a four man scramble? A group ahead of us posted a fifty one. I hate cheaters.

51 is a focking joke unless it was one of those scrambles where they buys dozens of mulligans and use them on the greens.

-9 or 10 usually wins our annual Lions Club outing.

Yup. We were eight under, as were most who were in the mix. No fawking way you can birdie every hole and eagle two par fives. Same group every year.
