Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?

I had no idea they were using some creative, bizarro interpretation of Sarbanes-Oxley to get these folks and Trump. I thought Trump was more about obscure codes designed to punish quartermasters in the Civil War who cheated the government. Anyway, this could be interesting. https://www.yahoo.com/gma/supreme-court-case-could-upend-090731507.html?.tsrc=%2619908-1202929-20240416-0&segment_id&bt_user_id=YOsAwKzxEucXGzp7ymsKNHn%2FAz1jeQcGWmVWo%2B1a1MjRWNuWLlNWFF8XfsX%2BTonN&bt_ts=1713278308992
  2. I appreciate the info. I believe I was specifically responding to questions about my beliefs of Trump’s culpability on 1/6. Good to know that the prosecution agrees that it was a nothingburger.

I'm higher than all of you right now

Would love to do it, let me know.

    Trump/Biden in a Nutshell

I shouldn't have said "nothing," as clearly there was prior scientific research. But as you said, Warp Speed was a great accomplishment. You may or may not be aware of a concerted effort to delay the approval of the vaccine until after the election. Our resident Covid expert @TimHauck followed it more closely than I did, and can show the receipts if you are interested (and he is willing). It is truly one of the most inexplicably uninvestigated influences on the 2020 election.

    Trump/Biden in a Nutshell

On #2, Trump went from nothing to vaccine in 9 months by pushing a public/private partnership that used exceptions to get things accomplished in record times. If the "regular" government had been in charge, we'd still be waiting for approvals. Biden then took this remarkable feat and arranged for it to go on trucks to pharmacies. And somehow, Leftists view this as the awesome accomplishment, vs. the unprecedented creation and approval of the vaccine.
  6. Do you believe that being "inclined to believe" that Trump had such knowledge is sufficient to criminally prosecute the challenger to POTUS?

Yeah, that's often the case. Herb was a visionary, but eventually the accountants like @BeachGuy23took over and thought they could differentiate the company with awesome Excel spreadsheets instead of vision.
  8. Clearly you hold these people in the highest esteem, as I indicated earlier. You are the biggest pseud here, the epitome of the useful idiot who leverages his ability to count beans to think he belongs at the cool kids' table of elitists.
  9. Tell you what. If the prosecution can show such contact/coordination, I'll retract my objection to this trial and admit it is valid. And if they cannot, you admit that it is a banana republic farce. Agreed?

  11. It's funny, I've said a bazillion times here that I'm not a fan of Trump. Perhaps the "narcissistic doosh" phrase in the post you quoted was a clue? Yet you accuse me of the very thing (well, opposite thing) that I accuse you of. But before we get into that: I hesitate to type long posts like I did, because folks will take what they perceive as the "weakest" part of it and respond to that only. So, what do you think of my summary other than what you bolded? What type of people do you think that Trump was dog-whistling to, to try to take over the United States with flagpoles and pocket knives, such that he should be on trial for that as the opposition candidate for president?
  12. No, not at all. The people who were found guilty of those sorts of things should be punished under the law. My point is that I don't think Trump directed those people to do what they did (or the "rubes", as you call them, to do what they did). I'm not saying you are saying otherwise, but I want to be clear on my point, since this is the Trump trial thread.

But it could be used to take over the United States of America, that's why the Capitol policeman shot her.

    Scottie Scheffler

Well, that's not what he said or meant: His "victory" is eternal life through Jesus. You can agree or disagree, but he wasn't talking about winning a golf tournament.
  15. I don't usually think of such things, but I would bet that @squistionhas fapped several times today to this thread. He just seems so excited to finally see the mean orange man on trial...
