Super Cubs 132 Posted August 15, 2017 FFtoday currently has him ranked 13 standard and ppr with 79 rec 1086 yards and 7 td. Do you like those numbers for him? Do you think he will do better or worse? He has the talent just no QB. Does Fournette help?
NEWPOSTERGUY! 266 Posted August 15, 2017 i think that whole offense takes a huge leap forward, as Jax battles Tennessee for the AFC South title - ARob leads the way, exceeding the #s you posted ... let's go: 91- 1303- 12.
Crystal Meth Tweekers 26 Posted August 15, 2017 I think based on his ADP which is right around 4.3 right now he's a great value.
BobSanders_33 127 Posted August 15, 2017 I like him but he is right around Tyreak and M Bryant and I might roll the dice on those two first.
Gladiators 1,903 Posted August 15, 2017 I like him to bounce back and am a buyer at his current ADP.
IGotWorms 3,302 Posted August 15, 2017 I doubt he'll be as bad as last year but I don't think 2015 is happening again. My belief is that year was a fluke and 2016 is closer to what you should expect going forward. I actually think his current ADP is just right
Maulers1973 117 Posted August 15, 2017 I'm selling. I just don't trust him or Bortles.
Hawkeye21 1,848 Posted August 15, 2017 I like the talent that Robinson has but I think Bortles is just bad. If he stays in the 4th round then I'm all for him but I want nothing to do with him ahead of that.
TBayXXXVII 2,107 Posted August 15, 2017 Allen Robinson and DeAndre Hopkins are about the same. Great WR's with awful QB's who can't get them the ball. I'm selling on both. Don't want the "known" headache.

If he stays in the 4th round then I'm all for him but I want nothing to do with him ahead of that. I heard Bortles is making progress with his new mechanics since that early 5 int. debacle. Sometimes when you change your delivery, it takes some time to adjust. Maybe the running game threat will help the passing game.
LoOnAtIk 75 Posted August 15, 2017 The best thing that can happen to Allen Robinson is Chad Henne lol

Ray_T 587 Posted August 15, 2017 honestly, Robinson is high up there in value and there's not a ton of upside from there. There is downside if Bortles regresses. if you want to pick a player at or near their ADP in this offense who is likely to exceed expectations it would be Hurns. if he hadnt got hurt, he was headed to his second 1000 yard season and look at his ADP. This guy is potentially the best bargain. and by picking him up late, if Bortles game goes in the tank, you dont stand to lose much. He would be your WR4 or WR5 with WR2 upside potential. What's not to like.
Kent 228 Posted August 15, 2017 Did he get traded or is he still a Jag?

tanatastic 2,061 Posted August 16, 2017 Easy bounce back call. Anyone who, doesn't see this coming needs to play FF more. It always zigs when you think it will zag.
Hardcore troubadour 12,593 Posted August 16, 2017 Coughlin is running the show in J-Ville. Bortles will be on a short leash.

I had also heard that and I believe they have been saying that each year going into a new season. They also said they don't want Bortles to have to throw at all as they would prefer to run. Robinson is a WR2 for me right now.

Thats funny because I guess some guy on the team joked to a reporter about him possibly throwing 0 passes in some games.
CornKobb 48 Posted August 16, 2017 I heard on the radio sportstalk yesterday Allen Robinson chewing out Bortles saying....Quit throwing the ball out of bounds. I think they hate each other. I endured Allen Robinson last year and made it to the Super Bowl. he had like 4,5,7 points the three weeks before so i benched him and he blew up. I lost by 4 points. Im cursed, gonna stay away this year.

The Jags are gonna run all they can this year.

Ray_T 587 Posted August 16, 2017 In Bortles' defense, throwing it out of bounds is the only way he doesn't get intercepted Yeah, I dont criticize a QB for doing this if a defender is in his face and he has no open WR. Throwing it to the coach is the best solution. No sack, no INT. Those 50-50 throws that could get picked have ended the careers of many aspiring young QB's. rallo 132 Posted August 17, 2017 I'm in the camp who is taking a hard pass on A. Rob... Bortles is a garbage time machine, but had THE worst rating when the game was still undecided... since then the Jags have added some key pieces on defense and look to feature the running game... this means less "prevent time" for Bortles to rake... I think the Jags improve this year... i think Bortles stats will be garbage... see ARob JMO

The most dangerous thing about the garbage time receivers is if the team starts winning, you dont get the garbage time touches. so winning is the worst thing that can happen to your garbage time WR and QB. Garbage time RB are a different story. They need to be winning to get the garbage time carries. This is why you want RB's running for a winning team. RB's running on a losing team dont get many second half carries.
rwockenf 0 Posted August 17, 2017 Question: I have the option to keep him in an Auction League (1pt PPR, all TDs worth 6pts, Start 2RBs, 2WRs, 2FLEX (RB/WR/TE). It would cost me $11. I wouldn't be giving up any picks and my other choices are: Eli Manning - 13 Andy Dalton - 9 Doug Martin - 40 Frank Gore - 17 Brandin Cooks - 43 Jarvis Landry - 27 Allen Robinson - 11 Kelvin Benjamin - 40 Delanie Walker - 23 Thoughts?
