    Metallica

That OZzy/Metallica was my first indoctrination into Metallica.

    Metallica

My favorite band. 1. Master - not a track on there I can't headbang to. Love them all. 10/10 starts! After this, it's debatable depending on your taste for the ballads and more mainstream sound or more raw and hard. IMHO. 2. Kill 'Em All - so many classics from the start at Hit the Lights, 4 Horsemen, Seek&Destroy, Am I Evil, etc.... 3/4 Many people like the black 'Metallica' album the best. I'd put it here or 4th. Sandman, Unforgiven, Sad but True 3/4..and Justice for All...All great headbang worthy tracks. Title track..on and on.. 5 Death Magnetic - I loved the comeback after the trash that was St. Anger. Day., Cyanide, ...most of the songs sound the same but that's ok when it's good. Lots of people call this the continuation of ..And Justice without the trash between. 6. Loyalists will jump on me for putting RtL below Death Magnetic. I love them both. Creeping Death is all-time. "Die, die, die, die" Fade to black, ... Ok. Move it on up. 7. Garage Days - could put this anywhere up here too. All covers of course but I love Small Hours. I rate all of the above a 9.5-10 on a 10 scale! But that's just me. . Load . Reload 25 - St. Anger I also loved the S&M with the philharmonic. I still listen to those tracks often. The orchestra going with the metal..and I think they put it together just right. Loved watching the video with these normally uppity classical players all sweating and giving it their all. Awesome!

    Go Daddy Pulled Commercial...was awesome!

Hadn't seen that. Good stuff! Thanks.
  4. I kinda agree with WahooJim If you're tired of him not saying anything during an interview, you should be tired of 99% of coaches and QBs basically doing the same.

    Who Pissed Old Maid Off?

Need to find another board to jihad like the olden golden days. naturallycurly.com still around? Once we were exposed and started bantering back and forth, we did a xmas exchange with them. LOL. I still have the jalapeno lights one of them sent me.

Am I making too big of a deal out of this?

Wife and I just take in a flask. You say you've been to Vegas. Last single scotch on rocks I got there, at Caesar's just waiting around, was $24.

    Communicating with spouse/partner

A few texts a day. She leaves very early so usually a good morning and how's your day couple texts.
  9. Separate vacations. She gets 'first' plane ride and Disney trip - whoop - dee - do. Your family needs to be YOUR family. Hers is hers. The daughter gets both awesome families so good for her. Give your wife a break and skip this one, imho.
  10. 'half witted' ? You're giving too much credit. She's still a rock star because, once in a while, during a speech, similar to some schlob with Tourette's, she suddenly yells: "I HATE ABORTIONS' 'I LOVE GUNS' ...and the crowd goes f'n insane!
  11. Seems these crankers are about 80-90% on the 10-pin. Horrible these days. Of course, the classic fail was Ballard, needed 7 for the championship and puts it in the ditch vs. Weber.
  12. I posted a bunch in the steak thread too. Over and over, Mephisto saying something like 'you can paint your house orange and like it if you want but it's still ruined.' Lots of funny ones but I also remember the 9/11 ones, one in particular while it was happening. I remember a post saying something like there are reported 25 hijacked planes in the air and someone else saying holy christ. It was just speculation and pandamonium on this bored like it was in real life.
  13. I would guess it is self-funded but I don't know.
  14. Being in KC, I would gladly donate a year for a hard salary cap. There are many types of caps though. Baseball has luxury tax and revenue sharing already. Plus each team negotiates their own tv deals. Hard to split that money in a big pool. And it probably wouldn't be best for revenue - having Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers in WS is a win, quite frankly. I don't know of any pro sports teams that have sold at a loss.

So this Wisconsin teachers union thing...

Nothing to do with balancing the budget. It's all about union-busting because unions donate to mostly democrats and big business and fat cats donate to republicans. Both parties will represent where they get there funds from. And, btw, in 2008 federal election, unions donated $440 million, mostly to Dems. Big business donated over $3 billion, mostly to GOP. Stop being jealous or trying to bring the common worker down. So what if they make $5/hour more or get a descent retirement. The credits to businesses, oil, religion, banks, credit unions, dwarfs those funds. And I hope nobody puts all unions in one bucket. I represent boilermakers. Try that job for 30 years and see how your body feels. The working man deserves a good wage, benefits, and retirement. Let the company post a $3 billion profit instead of $4B.
