RLLD 3,455 Posted October 22, 2018 https://www.politico.com/story/2018/10/22/senate-democrats-midterms-921666 By JAMES ARKIN 10/22/2018 05:05 AM EDT Share on Facebook Share on Twitter INDIANAPOLIS — Democratic hopes of winning the Senate have faded in the final weeks of the 2018 election, with the party now needing to win every one of more than a half-dozen competitive races in order to capture control of the chamber. It’s a far cry from a month ago, when Democrats saw a path to the majority opening wider as several battleground races trended in their direction. But in recent weeks, Sen. Heidi Heitkamp’s (D-N.D.) seat has slipped away and looks likely to be a Republican pickup, and Democrats have not opened advantages in any of the three GOP-held seats where they’re on offense, instead trailing in public polling in Nevada and Tennessee. I have to believe that the despicable behavior of not just the elected officials but also the MOB behind them has led to this. What is clear to me at this stage is that the leftists have learned nothing from the Trump election, and the liberal politicians have also learned nothing. They are doubling-down on the behaviors that led to Trump.

SenatorRock 708 Posted October 22, 2018 They still think they have a chance in TX and AZ. So focking delusional. Btw, Trump is having a rally for Ted Cruz in Houston tonight. 100,000 people have registered to attend. Tail gate open in an hour. There isn't a Dem-Socialist in the country who could draw that size crowd.
TimmySmith 2,782 Posted October 22, 2018 The Senate was an longshot to begin with. The more likely scenerio was the Dems losing a couple seats. Fake news never reported it. Now we'll get more snowflakes complaining about Russia or some other nonsense because they can't figure out the obvious.
