OBJ owners in panic mode?

No panic mode. He can't make any plays if the QB wont throw him the ball, which will not be the case usually. When Eli goes back and looks at the tape of all the scrub receivers he will be like "Oooooh, that's why I kept throwing to Odell last year. It's odd that I forgot that."

Or Odell is still affected by that first hit, which is a definite possibility.

The WR theory took a big dump today.

D. Thomas, Calvin Johnson, Jordy Nelson, Randle Cobb, TY Hilton, OBJ, Dez Bryant & AJ green.

Now all we need is Julio Jones to join the party.

Huh. . He looks like sh!t to me. Wouldn't have guessed those stats.

That would be McFadden and his 2.7 yards per carry. 4.2 speed my a$$. Dude got less wiggle room than my ex's butt crack.

I haven't watched every play of this game, but I have yet to see Romo or Manning take a shot deep. Did I miss it? :dunno:

And so did Anderson, McCoy, Forsett, Miller, Gore and if your going to add Nelson I'll add Foster.

I drafted McFadden late to see how it would work out but he will be on the wire soon. He has super stiff hips and a high center of gravity. Its amazing how quickly he goes down after contact. I think it's clear C-Mike is the guy for the job.

It's clear that a guy who doesn't have a single carry nor has done anything ever not could beat out backup rbs is the guy for the job? I can't even say CMike is fit to work at McDonald's let alone as an NFL RB. Let's just settle down a bit.

Perhaps....but nothing seemed "clear" to me. Randle looked fine, but just had limited opportunities.

I was just joking a little about C-Hype but Randle's 4.0 yards per carry seems like he is leaving a lot of meat on the bone.

Maybe that has something to do with him almost getting Romo killed on the Escobar TD catch when he ole'd a block on a blitzing LB. Not sure he's been back in the game since. I'm sure Romes just loved that helmet right in the middle of his back.

Aaaaand the New York Giants submit their entry for the worse play call ever.

Run the ball and the clock runs down. Even if Manning and dropped himself for a 15 yard sack, the clock still runs before they kick the FG.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

my brother and i were commenting on that during the game. didn't expect a ton of downfield from NYG, but the DAL offense is based on power running and downfield passing. neither were much in evidence untl the last 6 minutes, when romo was forced to go downfield (quite successfully, even without dez).

on the flip side, i really, really like the way DAL was using the underneath passing game with beasley and dunbar.

good eye--he's going to get an earful about that. it was exactly the wrong way to take on a bigger blitzer, and also exactly the same technique that he has been getting in trouble for doing. that kind of regression indicates a serious lack of focus.

very uneven night for randle. started tight, then found a bit of a rhythm. but regardless of his final stat line, he didn't play well.

Hard to gloat about that train wreck. I never saw what got Cromartie the interference call.

Romo and Whitten pulled it out.

 This.

That pass interference call was terrible. I think it was Filthy who said it in the Brady cheating thread and was in regards to a different matter, but I don't like watching NFL games feeling like it's the WWE. Don't get me wrong, I know there are a ton of bad calls in everygame for as long as I can remember but it does get really old. They really should be able to review penalties. Just because Jerry Jones is up on the apron distracting the referee while Romo hits Cromartie with a chair, doesn't mean they can't go to the tape. I know, alot of people think it will slow the game down, but that's only because they are slow in the process. Alot of the replays they already review shouldn't take nearly as long as these jokers take to review a call. In reality, it shouldn't take long at all. They just drag out the entire process. I don't need a 6 hour long speech on how they're going to review whether the players sack scraped the ground at the 26 yard line, inside the right hash mark......Just say we're reviewing the catch and while he's giving his speech the other refs can be doing just that. And watching the replay for 6 more hours, if you didn't see it the first 10 times from each angle then you sure as hell aren't going to see it the next 10. Sorry, rant over. I may have missed some things and exaggerated some details but hopefully you get my point, though you may not agree.

Notes on the game:

* Not a lucky win, but damn sure a fortunate win. To play that sloppy, with that many turnovers, and still win - fortunate.

* D. Murray was clearly missed last night.. That being said, no need for panic mode. Dallas still got 211 total yards out of the RB position.... IMO - DMC looked better and more explosive, but that's just me.

* Last night was the 1st time since basically the first few days of training camp that the entire offensive line has been on the field together. They were rusty, prolly a bit gassed, and it showed. They will be better.

* Our defensive front was not very good - especially at stopping critical run downs... On the flip side, Mo Claiborne was fantastic.

* This win was costly - very costly. Dez gone 4-6 weeks, Gregory gone 4-6 weeks, Leary gone, who knows how long. Couple this with Scandrick already - not good at all.

* WTF was Eli and Coughlin thinking? If that had been Romo and Garrett passing on that down - they would be getting roasted on this board and across the country today - not to mention laughed out of the stadium.... Eli not only botched that play, but he also cost the Giants about 18 seconds earlier when he snapped the ball after trouble with the time clock - could of easily run off more time there too.

* And then there's Romo. The haters will give him no credit bcoz this was not a SB or Conference game - and that's fine, that's what they do... But he was off the chain last night. Had that been Rogers - there would be an 1 hour documentary on ESPN tonight talking about it.
