Blazing Saddles

I came in to say Airplane but can't argue with Blazing Saddles.

This and Animal House were the first thing's that came to mind. Young Frankenstein is pure comedy.

Depending on my state of mind I'll go with Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke.

Strother Martin was great too,"I think he's the Anti-Christ."

Airplane

The Jerk

Monty Python / Holy Grail

It will be really hard to beat those 3.

robert downey jr had me and my daughter dying laughing because his "old black guy accent" was spot on.

when he corrected the young black dude for using the n-word, for a second i completely forgot that robert downey was white.

History Of The World is definetly up there.

The Heat is the funniest movie I've seen in the last fifteen years. It's been a long time since I laughed that much and that hard at a movie.

Came to say History of the World (came in late in my opinion).

The Jerk - quality.

Movie 43 ?

This is ... (Seth Rogen/James Franco etc)

Something about Mary kills me. Very few movies where I have to re-watch them because I missed half the lines because I was laughing so hard.

The scene with the dog roons me. But so many lines just take my breath away.

I hope nobody gets in a :argue: because this is so subjective, but wow, there are so many great movies. Laughter is the most pure emotion in the world. And bringing it forth is a gift beyond all others.

Just saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Not the funniest of all time, but much funnier than I expected.

Fletch is really clever, but not laugh out loud funny.

Tops for me: Old School, though also liked Airplane, Taps and There's Something About Mary.

As far as LOL funny, I'd have to have to hand it to Something About Mary.

But, pretty much everything here (except Raising Arizona) is quality.

SAM had pretty much the most LOL moments in a movie in a long time. The scene with the dog kills me every time.

But, I'll give Bunny props - "The Heat" is probably the funniest movie in short term history that I can think of.

Too much "funny" these days is the Lewis CK "awkward, silent, uncomfortable" Jew-style comedy that isn't funny at all to me.

And Yes, I know LCK is not Jewish, it's a style, not a religion, nor ethnicity thing. Sort of like the US version of "The Office" or "Parks and Recreation.". -- Just not my style. Feel free to feel otherwise. Same thing with Larry David.
