Dez concussed Monday, will not play Thursday

Yeah this is what I am concerned about. Such a great talent but those concussions are coming easier and easier Also not so concerned about a concussion causing him to miss the last two weeks of preseason. I know concussions can become a big issue but its not like he needs the reps and has not had a history of concussions. Think he will be fine

Desperation starts: Who you rolling the dice on?

Anyone roll the dice on bernard pierce as a flex? He was unproductive last week but got a lot of carries and plays atlanta this week who gives up the most points to RBs

    How bout dem Cowboys

The crazy thing about watching this team this year, is they are still making some dumb mistakes like the special teams mistakes on Sunday but they are playing well enough all around to overcome those. The past few years they have had enough talent to compete with teams but could not make a single mistake or it would cost them (i.e. the denver shootout) It's such a great feeling seeing dallas defense on the field making a stop at the end of a game. Sometimes I feel like it is a little too good to be true but they are playing solid fundamental football so I will take it I think we will be ok with free missing for a few weeks with our upcoming schedule anyone also see the difference in passer rating on sunday between romo and wilson: 62.6

    How bout dem Cowboys

Well said siren. I live in TN and play ff with a bunch of titans fans with a few that really enjoy ragging on the boys and romo but also like to completely ignore stats and just go with a gut feeling that romo is no good and not "clutch"

New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys: In-Game Discussion

Still not overly optimistic about my Cowboys but it has been a decent start to the season. If they wouldn't have turned the ball over so many times they would have had a decent shot at SF too

New Orleans Saints at Dallas Cowboys: In-Game Discussion

This is fantasy football man. Settle down
  7. I think in yahoo if you pick up a player and immediately drop them they do not go back to waivers but to FA. So you cannot churn the wire. Think they have to be on your roster for a minimum amount of time to go back through waivers

    Fozzy Whittaker ?

    Nice copy paste job there

    Cowboys fans

I am a Dallas fan living in TN and in a league where 10/12 are all Titans fans and only me and my bro are Dallas fans. I would trade a win this week for the rest of the season and that would be a win on two fronts: 1) 1-15 would get us the top pick for Jerry Jones to screw up and 2) at least I won't have to hear it from the rest of my league all week long. I am nervous but do have some faith. If Romo will protect the ball I say we have a legitimate shot. Romo has historically bounced back well from multiple int games but that is about all I have to hang my hat on right now with how awful the defense looks and how poorly romo played last week Also if this drug deal goes through today will Scandrick play on Sunday? anything helps
  10. So what is the consensus on worth for waiver budget out of $100 if the claim goes through tonight? I drafted him late, then dropped him and now have to spend to get him back. He goes through tomorrow morning Deep benches so have room but can't figure out what percentage of FAAB to throw at him. Maybe 20% since there is no guarantee of him ever seeing the field at all?

Super Bowl Bound! Sign In Here

I had to sweat out last nights game but now I am in 2/3. Reggie had to stay under 18.5 in a standard league to clinch one and needed 22 from Megatron to get in the other. So clinched one and lost the other.

    Cowboys talk

I will still defend Romo to a certain point. If they get rid of Romo who do you replace him with? I am ok to take some late round fliers on a QB to develop. The biggest thing to take away from yesterday is the play calling. 18/48 run pass ratio when your RB avg 7.4ypc and the only time they trailed was with 1:30 left in the game. The second half was 7/23 run/pass. What the hell?!?!?!?! The worst was when they were backed up in there own end with about 5 minutes left and they threw 3 straight times for a 3 and out with almost no time coming off the clock. I don't know if it is horrible play calling or Romo calling audibles or what but it is an awful way to throw away a game like that.

Who do you need Sunday and Monday night?

I am up 18.92 in a standard league going against Reggie Bush. That number is a realistic number but looking back Bush has not scored that high all year. Still nervous as hell though

    Am I out of line?

I am in this same league and the same guy who gave up peyton also made these two trades: Gave Forte for Percy Gave AJ Green for Ellington Gave both these players to the same team who is in 1 game out of the last playoff spot. I had been sending him messages to about AJ Green for two days and he said "i still have to win this week since I have never lost to this team before" Both Percy and Ellington can be keepers next year and I completely see the Percy trade but don't see the ellington trade. Our league communicates through What's App a lot and most trade talks happen there so I asked if they could show us some screen shots of their trade talks. None of the three managers could show us that: 1 did not respond, 1 said he has a droid and doesn't know how to take screen shots, and the other said he always deletes all his messages as soon as trade talks are over (3 managers: 1. gave up manning, forte, green 2. got green, forte 3. got manning)

Yeah, when the salary cap pain starts and we find our selves watching a team that is at the cap ceiling looking to try for another .500 season
