What's the best online pay FF site?

I've been using fantasybowl.com for three years now and I really like them, but I was thinking about getting a team or two with some other pay sites if they are worth wild. I used antsports before fantasybowl and they sucked with a plethora of site problems. Does anyone have any suggestions? I usually play $100 leagues.

The ffleagues.com site looks a little basic, like it was thrown up over night. Has it been around for awhile and are they legit?

Personally, I think that MyFantasyLeague.Com is the BEST site.

 

Over the last 15 years, I have been on:

 

CBS-RTSports-FanBall-FFL-XPERTS.

 

I am now in 9 leagues (all private)-- ALL on MFL and won't even consider joining a league on any other site any more.

I checked out my fantasyleague.com but it looks like you just purchase leagues there. I'm looking for pay leagues were you purchase teams and the winner gets the pool of money, second place gets some and third a little. The site keeps a percentage of the entry fee. Like at fantasybowl last year I purchased $50 and $100 teams, when I won I got $260 and $570. I think second place got $100 and $200 respectively. There were a total of 12 teams in each league and all the leagues are like that. I was looking for pay sites that have a little bit more variety in scoring and number of teams.

Actually ffleagues has been around longer than most any of the other sites, just on a very small scale. It was never designed to look anything but basic, although the meat of it is far from that.

 

The site is primarily for folks to come in and find a league in which they'd like to play where they spend $25-$200 and get most of the money (80% on $25 to 97% on $200 - private leagues often say they pay 100% but you still have to pay extra for the site) returned to the owners. Several variations in style of keeper/dynasty leagues as well as lots of different options in redraft league rules. As for its legitimacy, you may want to ask a few of the folks (the ones in as many as 11 leagues there) who have been playing there since 1995 when it started with 2 leagues and has grown to over 40.

FFleagues.com isn't a big fancy impersonal site like most of the major ones out there. It's run by one guy who busts his butt to provide the best fantasy site you could ask for. He spends countless hours answering questions, taking care of any problems users might have, and constantly looks for ways to make his site better for everyone on it. The best part is he does it because he enjoys it, not because it's his job. There are all kinds of stats...weekly, season, player comparison charts, etc. You can watch live updates of your team's games as they're being played. There is a full draft feature to use if you choose. The list goes on and on. You can join just about any kind of league you want.... redraft, keeper, auction... with entry fees ranging from $25-$200.

 

I have my 3 leagues on the site and play in 4 more. My leagues have been on there since 1998 so yes it's been around awhile and definitely legit. The hosting fees are extremely low for all the features and services provided. The personal attention and service you receive is priceless, especially compared to the big sites where you don't know when you'll get help or an answer to a question, or who it's coming from. It's definitely #1 in my opinion.
