Mike FF Today 607 Posted August 18, 2018 He can only attend meetings and condistioning sessions... can't practice right now.
shaabyi 0 Posted August 19, 2018 Calling it... he wont play a game this year.
tanatastic 2,061 Posted August 19, 2018 My prediction is something wacky happens or he ends up sucking half the year then comes on strong late.
Drizzay 645 Posted August 19, 2018 He's back just early enough to make someone waste a mid round pick on him. That ain't gonna be me.
redsrback 30 Posted August 19, 2018 If he doesnt get practicing it will take him awhile to get in game shape, then you have to worry if he has a breakdown.
jimaveli 119 Posted August 19, 2018 His risk is still not fully baked into his draft price right now. His holy moly season was half a decade ago. I am hoping he gets it together personally because I am a decent human. For fantasy, I fear getting stuck with a weird and unpredictable situation. Also, Cleveland Browns. Someone on reddit just argued with me about Gordon when I said he has to prove he can play at an elite level. Hes like didnt you see what he did in 2013?! Jesus talk about ancient history. Pretend we are talking about any other player in the league and my argument is about what they did in 2013. Id sound ridiculous.
jimaveli 119 Posted August 20, 2018 expectations have been out of control ever since Peterson came back like a monster from that acl injury. Now, folks view that season as a possibility for any player coming off an injury and/or absence.
weepaws 2,460 Posted August 20, 2018 Didn’t Peterson return the very next season? The last time J Gordon was a wr1 has now been four years ago. I don’t even see the comparison. Sorry, but Peterson had a physical problem, J Gordon had too stay clean and he couldn’t do it. I’m just not so sure that he can be the same player he was four seasons ago. soupy 0 Posted August 20, 2018 Worth a late round pick. They didnt sign Dez and kept Gordon around for a reason. He is still young and the upside is worth the risk.
DamageIncVacc 6 Posted August 20, 2018 Late round, hes going in the 5th round in most mocks. and started creeping into the 4th since he returned.

I dont get it either, but Gordon is going in the 4th round before hes even been cleared by the nfl to practice. Some people clearly believe in comebacks of varying degrees. Again, Im not usually that trusting. And yep, AP missed a season but came back early by the standards for acl tears at the time. Lots of people were preaching lowered expectations and concern. Then, boom. He blew up. And people have been getting overdrafted ever since based on FOMO on the next AP crazy season.
Turcaso 1 Posted August 23, 2018 Wow.....so nobody here thinks he's on track to contribute early and have a good season? (Says the guy who drafted him in the 5th after taking Sequan, Dalvin in Ertz in the first 3 rounds:(
