Favorite The Cure Song

Recommended Posts

Yea yea yea...80's emo sh1t..whatever..Go fuk yourself

I really like a bunch of their deeper (not mainstream) tracks, but I'm still drawn to, and still get misty eyed on occasion to the below.

Robert just does the passion in such a great way. Lyrically and composition of the songs.

Dude...I was at the local auction / farmers market a few weeks ago an d saw a cover band of themcalled "just like heaven" Video below

The video sucks, cause they sounded exactly like them and the sound quality was much better there than in this capture... and what they opened with was Killing an Arab...

Gypsybrat and I couldn't belive that in this day and age that they actually played it live and actually said the werds (Killing an Arab)

Oh...I commented on this page tonight. First name chris

It might be easier to list their bad songs.

If there is such a thing. :dunno:

You're correct, tho. There are a few that I never got into, but there are wayyyy to many that I really enjoy so I forgot about the others. :)

Why did I figure this would be your favorite? :D

I always loved how quirky it was. :dunno:

Not sure I can call it my favorite, there’s WAY too many to choose from.

Sux did you watch that live performance of "Forest" it was called "At Night" Amazing to think they had the perfect music and that was their first performance and they wrote entirely new lyrics that went perfect with the music they already had

there are some awesome riffs in Lovecats, reminds me of something the B-52's or Tom Tom Club would have written...in a good way

same with Caterpillar

Caterpillar....That's the one I was gonna through out at OldMaid as far as quirky, also

I might have, but find it and link it here for me.

Bottom line, and I've said it here multiple times before, Robert Smith is a musical genius. Imo, anyhoo.

also, time to get out out of here and try and rub one out to kitty pron before I go to bed. I'm a petaphile, it seems

Hard to say a favorite, but this the one I listen to most. Disintegration is so amazing. Plainsong, Closedown, all the hits, and then the run of Prayers for Rain to the this one at the end.

man I forgot Charlotte Sometimes

try to get a lyric like this into a song today

Tears were pouring down her face. She was crying, crying for love that died so many years before. Sometimes I dream, while other people dance. Sometimes I dream. Charlotte sometimes.

Great fukkin call.

At the moment, I'm on the phone with one one of my queer friends turning him on to the 14 year old Robert Smith forest.
