  1. American's were not given the choice whether to accept it or not. Also, vouchers and credits are not the same as cash, I have to use the voucher at that airline-instead of being able to take my cash to another airline that might actually be able to get me to my destination on time. You are advocating for a system that gives you less freedom.
  2. The government also can set consumer protections, and simply saying that if you don't provide the service you sold, means you have to give the cash you received doesn't seem to be a huge burden on the operator.
  3. Sure---let them do whatever they want---that program where Boeing lobbied and won the right to do self inspections has worked out great! Clearly, companies always work in the public interest. Whistleblowers and regulators say Boeing’s self-inspection program helped lead to safety problems, including a recent catastrophic door plug malfunction.

Arizona indicts "fake elector" Clownzo boyos

Yeah, but the "Dem plan" if you call for that was to ask duly elected electors to vote faithlessly. IIRC, electors not voting for the candidate they are pledged isn't even mandated in all states. Pretty sure most have made it some type of crime, but it varies. Asking electors to not vote for their pledged candidate isn't a crime though. Submitting fake electors to Congress is fraud, plain and simple. They were not the certified electors. Big difference in the two instances.

Not a lawyer, but if the it's a federal charge, I think it's possible to be charged and tried for the same crime in state and federal court. Though I agree, it's unlikely the state is going to do the same thing as Jack Smith is already doing.

  7. Also, I only say "We" when WE win...they lose on their own.
  8. Why do people ask questions, when it's apparent from their replies they had no interest in the answers offered?
  9. Still no policy on what happens when you lose your iPad when the door falls off at 25K feet.

Heisman Trophy returned to Bush after 14 years

Not sure, good question...would have been pretty funny if he did try that though. Sorry guys, I pawned it a week ago, talk to Louie on the 5th and Vine.
  11. Well, I own Green Bay Packer stock, which makes me a part owner...so when I say "We", it's literally the truth. Now if you will excuse me, I have some last minute draft-prep that needs attending.

No, he sold it. Simpson's efforts to resume his old life were undermined by Ron Goldman’s family. They believed Simpson was guilty and pursued their wrongful death lawsuit relentlessly. In a civil trial, a jury found Simpson liable for the murders and ordered him to pay $33.5 million in damages to the Goldmans and Nicole Brown Simpson’s family. Hundreds of valuable possessions were seized as part of the award, and Simpson was forced to auction his Heisman Trophy, fetching $230,000. He never could pay off the $33.5 million, saying he lived only on his NFL and private pensions.
  13. They did it, really, even though someone else's DNA was identified and that guy admitted it? Geez, you make Barney Fife look Robocop.
  14. The Enquirer's Bat Boy stories seem more plausible.
