froggsnflfan53 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Was offered this trade Reggie Bush, Eli Manning, and joe Jurevicous for Daunte Culpepper and Steven Jackson. Its not a keeper league, and my other QB and Rb are as follows McNair, Warner Portis, LenDale White and DeAngelo Williams. Would you put your teams fate in the hands of three Rookie RBs, albeit the three top rookie rb?
Me_2006 14 Posted August 8, 2006 I sure wouldnt. Portis and Jackson makes for a very solid backfield, especially without Martz and his pass-happy offense gone to the Lions. If Culpepper becomes his old self he could explode with the weapons he has in Miami, and if its later in the season before he comes around, you have Warner and his high powered offense in Arizona. I dont know what you have at WR but if Jurevicious would be an upgrade...then you have problems at WR and should keep your RB's anyway because he sure wont fix the problem with Charlie Frye under center. So in short, stick with the proven veterns, especially since you wouldnt really be upgrading at any position by accepting the trade. That's what I'd do anyways. sportscleve14 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Don't make this deal. Culpepper, Warner, & McNair are solid QB's and haveing Portis and S. Jackson starting for you is great.
