Should I drop from #1 to #2 (12 team ppr, re-draft)

I drew the #1 pick in my fantasy draft, and I'm debating swapping picks with #2.

 

I am considering this because....

 

I am unsure of whether or not to draft LJ or SA. This way, I have no tough decision, and I get a slightly better value for the back I draft. (I'm not sure if the new number 1 will take LJ or not, I have a feeling he will)

 

I believe there is an elite group of 8 WRs and 14 RBs. I believe these 22 plus Petyon Manning will be the first 23 picks. To ensure I get both LJ/SA and one of these 23, I'd need to have the 23rd overall pick (2.11).

 

Am I crazy, or is this worth considering?

I would not consider doing this. I find it hard to believe that all 12 owners will have the same top 23 players as you. So I would say 23 vs. 24 pick is irrelevant.

try trading picks? maybe you can talk him out of a midrounder? 6th and 7th round picks are super valuable (you'll get a starter) but they don't always SOUND that valuable ya know?

Try to get something else in return, but I'd do the trade. First of all, you don't care who you get at #1 or #2, so that's a wash in your eyes. Secondly, if you have a sincere top 23, then what happens if it does fall that way and you are stuck at 24 and could have made the switch??? It probably won't happen, but if it does, you'll kick yourself.
