Getting greedy?

Recommended Posts

Here are my WR's and RB's:

WR:

T.O.

Terry Glenn

Javon Walker

Donald Driver

Roddy White

RB:

Ronnie Brown

Chester Taylor

Brian Westbrook

Warrick Dunn

Kevin Jones

My problem is as follows: Due to the "Reggie Bush halo effect", no one in my league thought to draft Deuce McAllister. I want very badly to pick him up. Is dropping Roddy White for Deuce a good idea, or am I getting too greedy? My league does a 3-WR 2 RB format. I don't want to drop any of my RB's, because all of them have good outlooks and I'll be quite angry if someone else in my league picks up, say, Chester Taylor just as he starts dominating defenses. Roddy White looks like the weak link right now, and I plan on fixing the WR schedule conflict when it arises. Should I pick up Deuce, or let some other dirtbag who's not as stacked at RB as I am pick him up?

I'd drop K. Jones and grab Deuce but that's just because I don't drink the Martz kool-aid

White is your weakest link - if you are able to p/u MacAllister, I'd drop White. With a deep RB bench, you can always trade for a better WR later.

I think you have the right idea. Drop White for McAllister and sort out your WR situation later if necessary.

I wouldn't give this a second thought. Deuce over White is a no-brainer IMO. You've got a good corps of WR's and I don't see White doing any better than most WR's you can probably pick up on the WW. Deuce will either be good trade bait or a nice bye week/injury cover player for you.
