Where is Chris Johnson in the New RB rankings?
mdog1967 replied to mdog1967's topic in FFToday Board
Sorry!! Page two LOL -
The rankings are Missing Chris Johnson of TEN. What happened?

Would be great to have a Steve Smith altercation with TO. I could see Smith on the wrong end of that one.

Do you think Santonio Holmes will be more of a stud than Housmanzadah?
mdog1967 replied to coyote-kid's topic in FFToday Board
I hope that thinking prevails in my last draft for the season. I would be more than happy to snag Holmes in the 5th round. I wont touch Houz this year before the 5th myself. -
Eagles are not a safe bet to deal with Westy in a way that should give owners confidence. They brought Booker in for a reason. I don't believe the Eagles have ever been an organization willing to play hostage to hold outs from aging players. Westbrook has lots of mileage on his body for the short period of time in the league. This is the latest news so far. From Rotoworld. Along with Brian Westbrook's agent switch comes speculation that he is thinking about holding out of training camp. Westbrook was quoted as saying he probably wouldn't hold out of camp, but he hadn't made up his mind. As is almost always the case, holdouts get a lot less realistic once hefty fines start to make an appearance. Draft in the top ten but be cautious!! This would be a good year to seriously consider adding Booker as the Handcuff.

To add: The Packers WR corp is pretty good, Jackson showed little with the exception of one game. The O-Line is outstanding as also demonstrated by a really good single game effort by Jackson, if you watched he was running through interstate size holes. The Packer Defense is also real good and will give the packers plenty of opportunity to take the field. I like Grants chances as a top flight number 2 borderline one. 12 team leagues should draft at the start of the second round. 16 team leagues should acquire after pick 12. I look at Grant as the guy that will give you consistent production week in week out. I don't see monster games or many with little production, just a solid showing every week. Lots of upside and I think there is a great chance that Grant finishes in the top 7-8 RB's in standard and PPR leagues. The Risk: No team wants to admit a mistake with a draft choice. I think the packers are still going to look for opportunities to allow Jackson to prove them right. It doesn't matter that I was shocked that they drafted him or still think that he is a career backup, the Pack drafted him and I could conceivably see the management attempt to mold him into their future starter. Only a few RB's come into the league and demonstrate as little as Jackson did last year and go on to be solid NFL caliber RB's, but it happens.

Jackson will retain his number 2 RB position for a long, long time.

As a Lynch owner I hope that there is more and less to this story. As a Husband and Father of two girls I am of the mind that a person fleeing the seen of a hit and run, or even declining to offer assistance to a fallen citizen is despicable. Lets see the facts before declaring Lynch a piece of trash. If the facts are Lynch was driving and intentionally left the scene of a hit and run then Lynch = Trash. 1. The word intentionally is intentional, its always possible but highly unlikely(I haven't viewed the video) that the driver was unaware that he struck a pedestrian. The conclusion I would draw if that were the case was the driver was severely inebriated and that would be even worse. 2. There may be much more to the story? was there an altercation and while attempting to leave the scene was the pedestrian outraged enough to attempt to intervene in the vehicle and passengers leaving, thus rushing the vehicle and subsequently struck. Still would not mitigate leaving the scene. 3. Did the pedestrian stage the incident (badly could have lot her life), for monetary gain? Still would not mitigate leaving the scene. I don't know - Usually the simple answer is the right answer. Either Lynch was driving or he wasn't. Either way he may want to reserve a hefty some of money for a Civil Suit.

I hope for the Raiders and McFadden that Wildman's evaluation is off the mark, however If I were going to lay money on the future outcome of DMAC, I would bet closer to Wildman's rating than the field. I would wait on dumping Fargas, he might still turn out to be the most productive back in Black and Silver.

Matt an extremely detailed Gut Check this week. I drafted Hubbard with the 60th overall pick in my main Dynasty League based solely on your writeup in the RSP. My favorite part of that Hubbard video was the elevation at the end when he jumped up to celebrate with his teammate. Great Job, again!!
-
Looking forward to it. I have one last dynasty draft with the 1.04 and have yet to decide on either Smith or Forte. I would take Rice but I may be able to snag him in the 2nd round, or trade up to get him in the late first.

WOW ... check out the 1st RD of this New Dynasty League Draft!

Taking Tomlinson, and Westbrook in a Dynasty draft is just plain goofey. Two years ago they would have been great picks. AP Lynch Stewart Mendenhal Gore - Maybe Brown-maybe SJAX DMAC (barf alert) Grant Forte Kevin Smith MBIII These are the guys you think about drafting in the top ten of a dynasty draft. Your in for a long ride and drafting great but aging RB's will help you today and rob you tomorrow. -
How about "'I'll try retroactive abortion candidates for $1,000, Alex............who is Coach Lovie Smith?' or "'I'll try retroactive abortion candidates for $1,000, Alex............who are the Chicago Bears?' or the best one "'I'll try retroactive abortion candidates for $1,000, Alex............who is Cedric Benson?'
