Recommended Posts

Sounds like he is out for the season. TE Crapshow continues!

The San Diego Union Tribune's David Chao expects
Jimmy Graham
(thumb) to miss 4-6 weeks.
A Friday MRI confirmed a broken thumb for
Graham
. He may potentially need surgery, putting his rest-of-season status in question.
Graham
hasn't been a huge factor this year, but losing him is another hit to the Packers' offense.
Lance Kendricks
will start until
Graham
returns. Nov 16 - 5:11 PM

Suppose I will wait for confirmation before dropping him, however, he wasn't doing much anyway.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Monday that Jimmy Graham will "try to play" through his broken thumb in Week 12.

McCarthy wasn't entirely committal on Graham being able to do so, however, explaining that Green Bay's medical staff will work with "different splints and protections" to try to get Graham game ready. Losers in three of their last four, the Packers are in must-win position ahead of Sunday's date with Minnesota.

Latest I read is that he was trying out splints in an effort to play through it.

Ugh... Graham was maddening marginal with all 10 digits healthy - can't see a splint on his thumb helping his production in a positive way. It'll be like trying to catch with a paint stirrer taped to your hand. Haha
