Is there anything worth watching on netflix, hulu, dvd or anywhere?

Recommended Posts

I need something to watch to get through the summer. Baseball sucks and soccer is ghey.

Of course I've watched all the great ones; breaking bad at least half a dozen times, house of cards almost as much, walking dead first 3 seasons a couple times (after that its garbage), the wire (any episodes without mcnulty suck), arrested development probably 3 or 4 times at least, dexter a couple times, sons of anarchy couple times, and most of the other big ones you can think of.

I tried game of thrones several times. Could never get more than 5 or 6 episodes before I gave up. Focking dragons and wizards are ghey. I've tried orange is the new black and just find myself searching for the lesbo scenes. Rest of the show puts me to sleep. Also recently watched Godless, Longmire, and deadwood. All really good. Anything along those lines works for me

Anyway, I like my stuff gritty and adult themed for sure. Anyone know of anything?

You'd probably like the first season of True Detective, Boardwalk Empire, Black Mirror, Fargo and Peaky Blinders. All quality shows with good writing.

I watch The Office a lot on Netflix. Just started watching Arrested Development and it's awesome.

If you're into apocalyptic/survival type shows there are some decent ones on there. I just watch the first season of The Rain and enjoyed it.

Arrested Development was a fantastic show when it was originally on Fox back in the mid 2000's. When Netflix picked it up they destroyed it and it is unwatchable.

I couldn't get past the over-dubbing on The Rain.

I haven't gotten to the Netflix episodes yet. I'm just finishing up season one. This is my first time watching it.

My cousin said the same thing. It takes me a bit but I get use to it. If I'm able to watch a few in a row it's pretty good.

Just do yourself a favor and stop after season 3.

You have watched all of those shows multiple times through? Go outside and live a little. That's way too much television for one person. Wtf

Forgot about Ozark. Was watching that with a chick I was dating, quit seeing her, quit watching it. Good one. That first season of True Detective with Mcconaughey and Harrelson was outstanding for sure. Boy did they fock that up in the second season. Stranger Things was ok. More of a kids show. The nostalgia was fun for awhile but after that wore off I thought it was just ok. I'll definitely check some of these others out. Thanks

There is a 2 season show on Netflix called Wanted. It's australian and pretty solid. Season one i thought was very good, season two not as much but still watchable for sure.

6 episodes each so it aint gonna take that much time

Watch it with subtitles. It's worth it.

If you're into true crime documentary type stuff... On Netflix is 10 episodes each about a different person on death row called 'I am a killer' A couple weren't that good, most were decent and a couple were every good imo. The first one is probably the most interesting or at least up there so you can kinda figure out early if it's for you or not

I want to watch that "Maniac" show with Emma Stone in it. But to be fair, I'd want to watch Emma Stone in anything.
