I’ll give you a chance to use a tiny percentage again. What percentage of law abiding citizens guns are used to commit crime?
I'm interested in a lot more than just crime, so that small percentage isn't terribly relevant. I think you must consider overall harm versus benefit.
While the likelihood of ever shooting it is small, a gun in the home is much more likely to result in harm than protection. I've posted the stats multiple times.
If you want to consider females the firearms here, the absolute number of shots causing harm (false sex assault allegations) is far less than shooting the bad guys (legit sex assault, including rape). But there ain't a lot of shots, either good or bad.
And the benefits of normal interactions with women are better than whatever other advantages you may derive from firearms.
So I'll continue interacting with women without restriction, and advocating improved gun control.
