Alshon Jeffrey Giovanni Bernard for Eddie Lacy and Vincent Jackson?
robbiodoro replied to mickeypowell5's topic in FFToday Board
I'd much rather have the Gio/Alshon side of this. Gio is a PPR monster and I'd rather take the chance on Alshon getting healthy and rebounding versus having to deal with Vincent Jackson's up and down season like he always posts. -
Right now I'm rolling out Dez and Roddy as my WR1 and WR2 with Alshon occupying my flex position. Since Alshon has the late Sunday night game and is going to be a game time decision, I'm in a pickle. Would you rather: A) Use Kelvin Benjamin (early game/decent matchup) in the flex? Use Joique Bell (early game/bad matchup) in the flex? or Wait until the late game and if Alshon isn't active, roll out Carlos Hyde as my flex?

I am having the same predicament with Hauschka and Tucker, but it has nothing to do with what day they play on and everything to do with dome vs. NY. I would say you're definitely over thinking that aspect of it. Last I checked they're calling for cloudy skies and only morning rain in New York, which should be relatively easy to kick in. I also think the Seahawks probably get more turnovers than the Ravens will. Both guys are solid with maybe an edge to Hauschka.

AD "looked far better than I'd anticipated" - Frazier
robbiodoro replied to robbiodoro's topic in FFToday Board
A guy who is interested in breaking the all-time rushing yards record, has three more games and then a full off-season, and has a history of coming back strong from injuries? Yes I believe he would risk injury if it wasn't something career altering. I'm not saying it benefits the Vikings organization as a whole to risk injury to him for a lost season, but AD is a man free to make his own decisions. And if I'm coaching for my job, yes, I would much rather have Peterson out there than Gerhart/Asiata. -
AD "looked far better than I'd anticipated" - Frazier

Could be that Frazier is on the hot seat after this year. Do the Vikings stand a chance at all without AD? I mean I don't think they do either way, but Frazier could be coaching for his job. -
Where would you rank AD if he actually plays on Sunday? He seems like the type of guy that likes to chase records and wants to go head-to-head with McCoy. Or is this just posturing by Leslie Frazier?

I would go ahead and leave it alone. Ivory vs. Carolina D? No thanks. J. Bell? Looks like Reggie Bush will be good to go and since it's a Monday night game, you're risking it if he does play. P. Thomas, you never know if he or Sproles will get most of the work. Floyd against a TEN secondary? No thanks. Riley Cooper is interesting to me, but he's so inconsistent and fluky that I wouldn't trust him. You can throw deep on the Lions, which is what Flacco should be doing with Smith. And Gio is better than your other options. I think the rest of your team is pretty solid so I'd stick with it with confidence.

Standard scoring, I have all three players. Do I wait and hope one of the Vikings RB's will be good to go or take K. Allen tonight at the flex? I'll answer yours.

Bills rush D is pretty bad, but MJD is also injured and could be limited. I would probably plug in Steven Jackson with confidence. The Redskins are in total and complete disarray. They have the look of a team that has just given up completely. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=429499

Championship Round (Weeks 15 and 16 Aggregate) HELP
robbiodoro replied to MaineVigorish's topic in A Little Help!
For week 15 I rank those as follows: Gerhart (assuming he rebounds from the hammy injury and is probable) Jennings Sproles / Floyd Ridley Gerhart will be a three down back if he plays, and will get screens as well as goal line carries. Don't like Jennings' match-up that much but at least he's a clear starter. Sproles is so sporadic, you never know whether he or Thomas are going to get the carries/screens. Floyd has to go against TEN who has held everyone in check except Denver. And Ridley is a joke. I expect to see increased workload from Vereen and a mix of Bolden/Blount/Ridley for carries. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=429499 -
Has to be Andre Brown even if he is going against your defense. Even if Brown gets 100 yards and a TD (a pretty successful day for an RB1) your defense loses what, 2 points max from that effort? The Seahawks are going to get their points just by sacking Eli, intercepting him, and returning kicks against the awful Giants special teams unit. This is a clear cut no brainer for me. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=429499

STD scoring Flex: Keenan Allen, Woodhead, Andre Brown or Edelman?

Anyone have any input on ranking these guys? -
Colts defense at home vs Texans - sneaky play?
robbiodoro replied to CornKobb's topic in FFToday Board
Well, Colts last six games: @HOU -6 STL 0 @TEN 4 @ARI -1 TEN 10 @CIN -6 That's not a stat line I'd feel too confident in. I don't think I would mind the Jags here. 11 sacks and 6 turnovers in their last 4 games and going against a rookie quarterback. That and the fact that they seem to be improving each week. -
Bills D vs Atlanta a "home" game but not really.. That matter?
robbiodoro replied to Woble Eth's topic in FFToday Board
The Bills have the easiest match-ups for the next four weeks, but I fully expect them to score 2 or 3 points in one of their remaining games. They're too inconsistent. But I've had shoddy luck streaming this year so you could definitely do worse this week. -
I think it's a wash either way. Seattle's defense is better overall but they have tougher match-ups remaining and the Bills have the easiest schedule of anyone remaining, though they have been inconsistent on defense. I think I'd stick with Seattle instead of trying to be cute. They're still going to be a top defense every week and they have a pretty good run-dominated offense to keep the defense off the field.
