never been in a individual Defense league before

am needing some help here guys.......i have done leagues with just team D for 8+ years now i am doing individual D in one of my local leagues..........was needing some advice..........where should i start drafting guys on Defense and what position usually should i go after first........i know it's usually by the scoring but how would you all rank the defensive guys by a standard scoring method..............and again i need to know what rounds i should start picking them.......................any help is appreciated if you know of a site that breaks this down please let me know....

Head-to-Head, Points Based System.

Ties go to the team with more points from Reserves.

Scoring based on total stats each period.

 

Scoring for Offensive Categories

FG - Field Goals 3 points

Plus 2 points for a FG of 50+ Yds

 

 

FL - Fumble Lost, Including ST plays -2 points

IFRTD - Individual Fumble Recovery TD 6 points

Plus a 2 point bonus @ 50+ IFRTD

 

 

MFG - Missed Field Goal -1 point

MXP - Missed Extra Point -2 points

Pa20 - Pass Completion 20+ Yards 2 points

Pa2P - Passing Two-point Conversion 2 points

Pa40 - Pass Completion 40+ Yards 3 points

PaCmp - Passing Completion 1+ PaCmp = 1 point for every 5 PaCmps

Plus a 2 point bonus @ 20+ PaCmp

Plus a 3 point bonus @ 30+ PaCmp

 

 

PaInt - Passing Interception -2 points

PaIntTD - Passing Interception for TD -4 points

PaTD - Passing TD 6 points
