    QB Help

Hi guys, I drafted Delhomme as my primary QB and also took a late round flier on Roeth as a backup. I am afraid to start either of them this week. Should I pick up Pennington or Alex Smith from my free agent pool? Who do I start in Week 2? Thanx!! TheDudeMrB

    Reaching for a couple guys?

I am also targeting C Taylor and Culpepper. I think you have to do what it takes to get them else you will end up with some scrubs! My draft is in 4 hours!!

    Take this trade or reject

I dunno... this is tough. I also like Driver over Coles. Personally I like Dunn over McGahee. I think McGahee has slightly more upside, even with Dunn in the non-Duckett scenario. McGahee is a beast but what happened last years still scares me. Dunn probably is less risk... He won't do much worse and can only improve with Duckett gone. I would rather have Driver and Dunn.

    Mcnabb or Bulger ?

I agree... I am looking at Delhomme as a more stable option - he's got Steve Smith & Keyshawn. His RB's are talented too. I also like the potential for Daunte, Randy, and Chambers to hook up with Brown in the Miami mix. My league awards .05 points per passing yard. TD's are worth 4 - 10 points (depending on yardage bonus). Interceptions however, are worth -2.0 points. Bulger (2005) 14 TD/ 9 INT - his longest bomb was only 57 yds Delhomme (2005) 24 TD/ 16 INT - he dropped an 80 yard bomb! Culpepper (2003) 25 TD / 11 INT - 59 yard TD strike Culpepper (2004) 39 TD / 11 INT - 80 yard rocket TD missile Culpepper (2005) 06 TD / 12 INT - 67 yard TD *7games The Vikings were a mess last year in many ways and the loss of Moss affected Culpepper's value. However, Culpepper will give Chris Chambers a chance to breakout in a more stable and talented environment. Culpepper is pretty accurate. Not many QB's average 11 INT / season and have the upside of 20, even 25 + TD's. Last season Favre fell to me late in the draft and I also acquired Byron Leftwich. These guys drove my fantasy team nuts although I do like Byron. I don't want a QB who will put my team on a roller coaster ride this year. I can't get Peyton or Brady. I like Carson Palmer's potential but I think Culpepper has a better chance coming off his injury than Palmer despite the cadavers used in his surgery. Culpepper has had more time to heal. TheDudeMrB

    Keeper League Help

That is good advice. Thanks guys! I am currently trying to trade up some draft picks to improve my first round pick. This will give me a better chance to grab Bush. Also, I recently learned that McGahee has been kept - Westbrook will now be available. Thanks TheDudeMrB

    Keeper League Help

Hello, I am in a 10 team keeper league. Players may be kept for a maximum of 3 years. Owners may keep up to 3 players; 1 player per position. We start 2 RB and 3 WR. From last season I am keeping: Rudi Johnson Marvin Harrison I have the 8th overall pick in the draft. Obviously all of the elite players are being kept. I will probably be able to draft one of the following with this pick: W McGahee H Ward C Chambers D Jackson D Driver W Dunn I am tempted to draft Reggie Bush with my very first pick. I like his keeper value and may have some impact this year. If I do not take him with this pick, my next opportunity will basically be with the 20th overall pick. I think he will be gone by that point. All advice and guidance is appreciated. Thanks! PS - Scoring System for RB & WR = TD - 4pts (bonus points added based on yardage of TD as well) Receiving and Rushing Yards - .1pt per yard (10 yards = 1 point)

    James or Jordan?

While not in the exact same situation, I am in a similar one having to choose between Edge or Rudi to keep (see my post http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=217331 ). I have also had Edge for 2 years and I know he is a great back but I have reservations about him being in AZ. Specifically Warner and the OLine. I somehow like Edge over Jordan however. I don't think Jordan will do much better than last season. He might put up similar numbers at best. Edge, even if he does do worse in AZ, how much worse? I think Edge will still put up 1000 + 9 rushing TD, nevermind any passing yards and passing TDs. In short, Edge has more upside to me than Jordan. Coach Green thinks Edge will rush for 1600 this season. Imagine that! I don't think Jordan will out perform Edge and if he does it may be neglible... not enough to warrant keeping Jordan over Edge. Thoughts? TheDudeMrB

    Edge or Rudi ?

Hello, Please advise which RB to keep: Edge or Rudi? Edge seems more of a risk to me right now but may have more upside. The Arizona situation scares me because it is unproven and I am not confident with Warner at the helm or the OLine. Rudi seems like the safe, consistent back whose numbers were comporable to Portis last season. Please help. Thanks, TheDudeMrB
